We love hearing feedback like this: "Thank you so much for our little hampers – the snacks will absolutely get me through the last working week! (if they make it to the week mark yumyum haha!) 😊" As part of our Winter Pack Hamper promo to wrap up 2024, we wanted to bring a little joy (and a lot of snacks!) to our amazing customers. Your smiles make it all worthwhile! Will we do something similar this year? 🤔 Too early to say… but we’re always brainstorming ways to keep our customers smiling. Stay tuned! 😊 #CustomerAppreciation #SpreadingJoy #KiteGroup

My fave day of the week...Workplace Insights Wednesdays 📚 This week’s pick: The Comfort Book by Matt Haig. 🌟 Life at work (and honestly, just life period) can feel unpredictable, overwhelming, or just plain 𝘮𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘺. Haig’s collection of reflections reminded me how much value there is in embracing life as it is, especially in the workplace. Here are this week's 3 key takeaways: 🌈 𝗛𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿. At work, hope often shows up as resilience; the belief that, despite the challenges, we will find a way forward. Think of it as the glue that holds innovation and problem-solving together. 🌀 𝗠𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀. Just like this book's non-linear writing style, projects (or career journeys...hello, generalists!) don’t always follow a straight path. The brainstorming that feels chaotic, or the detours on a project, are often where creativity thrives. (I try to remind myself of this one...every damn day.) ⚡ 𝗠𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁...𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀. Where are my other peeps who suffer from anxiety? Deadlines, presentations, and high-pressure decisions can feel overwhelming. But here's the kicker, even when panic strikes, it doesn’t define us. It’s temporary (pain is temporary, pride is forever IYKYK). A deep breath can help ground us and get us back on track. Thanks to Gabriela Maida for pointing me toward Haig’s work! I’m still eagerly waiting for 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘔𝘪𝘥𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘓𝘪𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘳𝘺! 📖 Wishing you a wonderful Wednesday! 💜

Now that RPM Office Appreciation Week 2024 has come to an end and I put this collage together, it makes me smile ... Seeing my team's excitement and anticipation for what each day offers, it's motivating and inspiring! We are encouraged and expected by our employer to take some time to celebrate our hard work and accomplishments together as a team! Stopping to have lunch together and play silly games or receiving our favorite coffee or taco... It's not about the smoothie or the pizza, it's the thoughts that are put into the week that count. It's about feeling the appreciation for all that your team does, and most importantly to me - it's about watching how those little things can help build morale and positivity amongst the office team - which spreads on to the maintenance team, residents, vendors, and ultimately into their personal lives! .... Wow Thank you RPM for acknowledging the front line and allowing us the time to celebrate our wins with each other! Showing your appreciation was a wonderful way to spend our work week! It added more value than may be known! I am beyond proud of the office team we have! I am grateful to work for a company that allows me to build my team based on our vision and goals for the property. Hiring people smarter than me is always helpful! 😁 They are success and results driven and have done great things over the past 90 days! I am proud and grateful for them everyday! As leaders, we are only as great and ultimately successful as our team we hire and invest in! We strive to hire the best and want to keep them happy and motivated! I acknowledge them often! They are recognized for their wins and supported by us as Community Managers, but it's amazing to watch how much positivity and value it brings to an onsite team member when they are recognized from our upper leadership! To all my Corporate leaders, remember how powerful your "good job" can be for our onsite staff! It's incredible the difference y'all can make! So the next time you reply to an email recognizing a small or big win or to say thank you, please try to include the team or the team member who helped contribute to the win! It'll leave a lasting impression on them about you and the company they work for! #officeappreciationweek #RPMliving #werekindaabigdeal #gratitude

As we wrap up the first week of our ReEmployAbility's 3-week Synergy initiative, I am thrilled to share some amazing highlights with you all! 🎉The enthusiasm and energy that have unfolded during this first week have truly blown me away. Witnessing small teams of 4-5 individuals coming together each day, forging connections, and sharing meals has been nothing short of inspiring. While fostering such connections isn't unfamiliar to our company culture, what's truly remarkable is witnessing individuals who hadn't previously engaged in conversations now coming together. 😄The laughter and joy echoing through our hallways as employees embark on short walks, getting to know each other a little better, is simply incredible! It's moments like these that reaffirm the importance of human connection in our workplace. #humanconnection and #connectionwithpurpose are the driving forces behind this 3-week initiative, and I couldn't be prouder to see our employees embracing them wholeheartedly. 🎇Already, I've had the privilege of hearing from many of you about the value you're discovering in this initiative within just the first week. Your enthusiasm and eagerness to continue learning and growing with your newfound teams are truly commendable. 🔁Let's carry this momentum forward into the upcoming weeks, embracing every opportunity to connect, collaborate, and thrive together.

So, we’re almost at the end of what is the first full working week of 2025 for most of us – congratulations on surviving the first few days back in routine! For many, the big New Year’s resolutions may have already fallen by the wayside as we absent mindedly open that pack of biscuits with our morning coffee, or tell ourselves it’s just too cold for a run this week! But it doesn’t have to be all or nothing. Even small changes can bring about positive outcomes. Are those small improvements you want to make, that you told yourself you’d “circle back” on and deal with in the New Year, still there to be dealt with? Whether it’s a policy you’ve been meaning to write, delivering some training to your team or a project that you just can’t find the time to start, getting these things off your mental to do list really lightens the load and gets the year off to a positive start. If this is you, maybe I can help? If you’d like to talk about how I can support you please get in touch. #HRConsultant #HRSupport #HRTraining

"Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is success." - Henry Ford The holidays are a time of togetherness, but let's be honest - they can also be a time of tension and overwhelm, especially in the workplace. That's why it's more important than ever to prioritize collaboration and connection as we navigate the seasonal rush. Here are three festive ways to bring your team closer together: 🎉 Holiday Hackathons Hosting a "Holiday Hackathon" is a fun way to get your team's creative juices flowing. Divide into cross-functional groups, give them a holiday-themed challenge (like designing a new company ornament or planning the ultimate virtual holiday party), and let the ideation begin! The friendly competition will spark new connections, while the shared sense of accomplishment will boost morale. 🎁 Secret Snowflake Put a collaborative spin on the classic Secret Santa exchange. Instead of individual gifts, have each person create a thoughtful experience or service to "gift" their team. Maybe your data analyst offers to audit everyone's spreadsheets, or your marketing maven volunteers to spruce up team bios. Watching colleagues support each other's professional development is the ultimate holiday treat. 🎨 Festive Team-Building It's easy to get so caught up in deadlines that we forget to make time for genuine connection. This season, plan a holiday-themed team-building activity that brings people together in a relaxed, fun environment. Could be a gingerbread house decorating contest, a virtual ugly sweater party, or even a holiday-themed trivia night. The key is creating space for laughter, inside jokes, and shared experiences. Remember, the best gifts we can give our teams this season aren't found under a tree - they're the bonds we build, the memories we make, and the collaborative spirit we cultivate, day in and day out. How are you sparking holiday joy and bringing your team closer together? I'd love to hear your ideas! #TeamCollaboration #HolidaySeason #WorkplaceWellness #CompanyCulture

The 4-Hour Workweek Reality ⏳📊 A lot of people have asked me whether a four-hour workweek is feasible, especially in today’s economy. I’ve given this a lot of thought and reflection. 🤔 The simple answer is: Yes, it is possible, *but* there’s groundwork that needs to be laid first. 🛠️ So, what does that entail? It means setting up multiple streams of income, creating and perfecting efficient systems, automating your business processes, and knowing when to outsource. The journey to a four-hour workweek begins by getting all your systems and processes out of your head and into an optimized, automated flow. 💡🤖 This isn't an overnight transformation. It demands a commitment to systemizing and optimizing your workflow and a willingness to invest time initially to reap the rewards later. 🔄⏱️ If you are serious about achieving this, I have a free resource to help you systemize, optimize, and automate your client journey—your primary moneymaker. Just comment "moneymaker" and I'll send it over. 💰📩 Believe in the process and get started today! 🚀🌟 #ClientJourney #EntrepreneurLife #Productivity #EfficientBusiness #AskYvi

Company culture is not agreeing a set of standards, or values. Its not what we tell our employees to do. Its what those employees decide to do when they are empowered to make decisions. Its how we feel on a sunday night before we begin a fresh working week.
