As we move into the festive season, it is a great time to reflect on how giving - whether it’s a thoughtful gift, time, or support - can bring joy not only to others but also to ourselves. “Study after study tends to demonstrate that choosing to give something to someone tends to promote a greater sense of happiness than buying something for yourself”. Dr Damien Lowry, 2025 PSI President, from a feature last year on the benefits of giving for #GivingTuesday. Giving is a simple yet powerful way to foster community and brighten both your day and someone else’s.
