Did you know there's a difference between a car collection and a car museum? While Klairmont Kollections initially started off as a private collection, we now function as a fully public not-for-profit museum. Use this graphic to learn about the differences between the two! Want to learn more? We wrote a whole blog post about the difference - and about why we decided to make the switch. Read our blog post here: https://lnkd.in/gDu-zhhX

We recently recorded an episode at the museum in Deurne, where you will find literally everything from the past... Literally everything 🤩 It's like stepping back in time. And on top of that, every thing in the place has a story. We recorded the episode for the Johnny Gaat Vintage channel 📺 When it appears online we will of course let you know 🙂 ____ #videoproductie #videoproductiebedrijf

Thanks so much to the folks who attended our webinar last week—your questions were great and we learned a lot from you! In fact, we'd love to get more feedback from the museum community: Are you a museum or cultural institution that uses multiple systems for storing and collecting data? If so, could you spare 15 min to a half hour to talk to us for market research purposes? Let us know in the comments! #museums #museumdata #museumtech #museumanalytics #usmuseums

Interesting facts about the concept of " the new museum in the twenty-first century "; It doesn't focus on the digital mediums that are used to tell narratives rather focuses on the idea of the ‘democratization of the museums’ content and programming’ in which people play a major contribution in the exhibition design.

I Help Heritage Professionals to Improve Their English Communication Skills 🏆 Advance Your Studies or Job Performance in Less than 12 Weeks ⏱️ 20 years Museum Experience 🏛️ TEFL Qualified 🧑🏫 DM To Learn More 📩
✒ I love this kind of public involvement in heritage and have even sent off an email myself to Hampshire Museums to get a page to decipher! 🤞 📑 Transcription is a tricky thing, I've had some experience with it during my career, and trying to read handwriting is both fun and challenging! ❗ The top tips to remember are: ✍ Write exactly what you see - mistakes, weird spellings, abbreviations and all. ✍ Don't be tempted to guess a word if you're not sure. Make a note so someone else can check it later. ✍ Document catalogues are now designed to be accessed online. So, add as many comments, notes, and spelling updates as possible in the correct fields. This will help the document to be more searchable by researchers. 👋 Need help with writing or reading documents in English? Let’s connect! 🏛 I help arts and heritage students and professionals improve their communication skills and confidence 👩🏫 Don’t forget to follow me and ring the bell 🔔 on the profile to catch all my posts #archives #janeausten #heapoffacts #transcription #history #englishwriting
