NaaViC Agri-Business Incubation Centre ICAR-NIVEDI, ICAR-National Institute of Veterinary Epidemiology & Disease Informatics, Yelahanka, Bengaluru has organized ‘State level Incubator Conclave' uniting over 33 Incubators those who are operating in the state of Karnataka implementing flagship program of both Central & State Government held at Karnataka Science and Technology Academy KSTA, Yelahanka, Bengaluru. The conclave included Industry Partners represented by BCIC Karnataka along with Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society(KITS) / K-Tech from the Government of Karnataka. The initiative aimed to foresee the future of innovation through the lens of Triple Helix Model of Innovation and the ecosystem can leverage each other which might be Industry, Government, Technology Business Incubators associated with Academia/Research Institute. The incubators in Indian Ecosystem are at a nascent stage with 5-10 years of collective experience are gearing up towards the impact which shall be held decided in upcoming decade. The collective horizon looks promising hoping the right talent shall fall in place. The major key topics were streamlined around the support system such as Incubator to Startups, Incubator to Incubators, Incubators to Venture Capital and Incubators to Industry and held in unconference mode. The collective results aimed towards leveraging the resource available to support these context and exchange of better way of operations. The formal and informal connections / networking under cross domain to overcome the gap in terms of basic science, technology refinement, market trails and pilot reach were taken into consideration to ensure the sustenance of technologies been developed under these incubators. The initiative will also be expected to be backed up by the Industry and Government bodies if the right set of synergy falling in place in future. The event was graced by Dr. S Devarajan (PED/Hos Devarajan, President BCIC Karnataka, as a guest of honor, Dr. Baldev Gulati Director, ICAR-NIVEDI, Dr. Ramesh, CEO, KSTA, Ms. Parnika Pavanram, KITS, and the event was coordinated by Team NaaViC, headed by Dr. Sathish B Shivachandra, and Mr. Harsha S M H., Business Manager & Dr. SANGEETHA M, Assistant Business Manager.
