Investing in the development of important interpersonal skills in the younger generation will pay dividends in the future as they move into adulthood and become industry and community leaders. They will be the ones who shape the world with their skills and talents. By teaching them how to communicate effectively and without bias, we are equipping them with the tools they need to succeed and collaborate. What a beautiful world that will be!
We have some exciting news! One of our school districts reported a significant decrease in bullying incidents in the 28 schools that participated in the Be THE Voice initiative. Compared to the previous school year, the 2022-23 school year had 95% fewer bullying incidents in elementary schools, 77% fewer bullying incidents in middle schools, and 91% fewer bullying incidents in high schools. The same district also reported a 36% decrease in office referrals and a 23% decrease in out-of-school suspensions. 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 At Homeschool Academy Australia, we’ve seen a significant increase in calls from families whose children have experienced bullying in traditional school settings. The pain this creates for both the child and their family is profound, often leading to anxiety and a sense of isolation. Children who face bullying may struggle with their self-esteem, leading to long-term emotional challenges. In response to these difficulties, many families are choosing to homeschool, seeking a safe and nurturing environment for their children to learn and thrive. Homeschooling offers a chance for personalised education and the opportunity to rebuild confidence without the fear of bullying. We’re here to support families on this journey. Our resources, guidance, and community can help create a positive homeschooling experience tailored to each child’s needs. Together, we can foster a love of learning and restore a sense of security for families navigating these tough times. If you’re considering homeschooling as an option, we’re here to help you every step of the way. #accidentalhomeschooler #bullying #mentalhealth
