Globally, all #batterytechnology teams are hitting the theoretical limits of their TM-based #cathodes, but it's not just active materials. The most elegant way to increase the #energy content is to reduce the content of the inactive components of the cells, and this is where theion rules the world with the AEPN LiS pouch cell cathodes 120x70mm with 92% wt. content of #sulfur. Together with the porosity of the #sulfurcathode below 20%, it´s corresponds to an E/S ratio below 1.6 ml/g. 1000 Wh/kg #lithiumsulfur #batteries are not possible without the support of the #engineering team, so we are looking for a talented #highvoltage engineer to join our R&D team, and by high voltage I meant tens to hundreds of kV at micro currents. As a part of the Theion #Battery #Technology team you will work on #DEP (#Dielectrophoresis) induced #AEPNtechnology responsible for building ultra-low resistance Artificial Electron Percolation Networks inside our sulfur cathodes.
