To every company currently recruiting, if your job postings are listed as 'Remote', and a candidate opens it up and it says 'Remote at first, then in office' or 'This is a hybrid role', or my favorite 'Must live within 30 miles', you're not fooling anyone... I don't know what lingo they're using nowadays within your industry bubble, but in the real world, we call this 'Lying'. If the candidate's very first impression of your company is that you're willing to be blatantly dishonest, there's no way any qualified or intelligent candidate is going to want to work at your company. Your company has 0 ethics or morals and you've proven that within the first few sentences. You've already shown them from the get go that you're willing to lie to candidates and probably are even worse to employees, so you can't be trusted.
