my artist name is 'molabocha' & way too often, way too many people ask me what it means. "it's a cult" I joke! but here's the truth 👇 an artist / taken / pen name is like a 'tracer dr*g' as we call it in science. while a bazillion people know me from school, college, work, family as 'Harshit', when someone knows me for 'molabocha', I know that they know me for the work I do, the art I make, the stories I tell, the mission I am on! last night, Roshan Abbas sir during the closing ceremony of Kommune 's Spoken Fest called out my name as 'molabocha' for bringing together the Conversations & Art experience for the festival. that moment, that mention - goes in some of the most meaningful wins of my life. grateful to have grown with cheerleaders like these, who see me!
