With ReadyCode, game developers define a modding API tailored to their specific game. Within the game's configuration, choices are made regarding: Identifying which parts of the game state can be accessed for modding. Specifying read-only or read-write status for elements of the game state. Exposing game assets for utilization in mods. Determining built-in game functions that can be invoked in mods. The API for the moddable game, implemented in ReadyCode, is set as an "entity database." The game state is structured like a database, using tables and column with straightforward value types. #GamingAPI #Modding

Hey LinkedIn Family, I have recently been playing around with Stake and was fascinated by the tech involved. So, I decided to build a luck-based game myself. 🎉 Presenting 12 Cards! 🎉 12 Cards is an online game (amusement only) where players can bet Game Points (GP) on any of the 12 available cards. Every 2 minutes, a roulette is spun, revealing a multiplier and the drawn card. If the player's predicted card is drawn, the player wins GP Bet * Multiplier * 10 GP. Single player, multiplayer, whatever you need help with. Every session is recorded so you can identify bugs, gauge player experience, and see where your players get stuck. Not only that but after every playtest, we have feedback hangouts to discuss what you can improve. It's basically like having a brainstorming session with a bunch of colleagues helping you iterate your game.
