“Heads up and hands free. Get back into the world” I highly recommend you check out this awesome Ted talk by jason rugolo and the fascinating technology his company IYO is creating for #audiocomputers. Their AUI (Auditory User Interface) seems like the most promising I've seen to naturally engage and connect with a device without a display. The real breakthrough in my opinion is moving away from visual interface (which is cerebral) and instead move to the audio space (which is inherently tied to emotion). I for one would like nothing more than to keep my eyes out of my phone and connect with the world and my loved ones around me. In the talk he mentions other sonic technologies like personalized soundscapes for wellness as well as psychoacoustic technologies like beam forming to help us hear better and engage more deeply. In future development I personally think there's a place for #interactionsounds in the AUI to speed up a process. We can communicate so much information and emotion in just one brief sound. Imaging hearing a brief confirm sound to a request instead of a sentence. Bravo to Jason and the team. Can't wait to hear what's next! https://lnkd.in/ghVPMtUZ

📢📢 Good lens, Basson made! ➡ How to detect bar codes with high precision? ⬅ What should we do if small bar code inks like QR codes and bar codes stick together? The solution is to use Basson telecentric lens. These small ink dot detection requires strict resolution. The solution is to use Basson 2× telecentric lens for detection. We can see that the measured bar code lines have clear imaging, uniform imaging in the full FOV, and sharp edges. Any two stripes adhering can be clearly distinguished.
