Once (and only when) you’re able to liberate yourself from modularity and the right angle, or at least — as in this case — in a first attempt, increase the granularity of the module and introduce non-right angles, do you start to unleash the full freedom of creativity… this is one of many reasons why it is critical for the long-term success of modular / prefab construction compagnies to participate in architect-led projects such as those of Renee Puusepp (Pattern Buildings), Jakub Pstraś / Ligia Krajewska (exexe – Ekosystem), mine (Praefabrica Corporation) and others’ who pioneer this domain of architecture.
