A day in the life of a tester - last year, we released GeoCloud Drive, a new cloud service optimized for data transfer between the field and the office. It’s accessible within Leica Captivate via the Cloud Services panel. However, most uploads from Leica Captivate are needed after data has just been exported. Therefore, for the next Leica Captivate release, we have integrated GeoCloud Drive into each exporter. This means you can now choose that, once an export is finished, files are automatically uploaded to your selected project and folder in GeoCloud Drive. This makes uploads much faster and eliminates extra steps, like navigating to find the file to upload. It also makes our testing of GeoCloud Drive uploads from Leica Captivate much faster.
