[My Halfway Internship Journey at ParagonCorp x Kampus Merdeka] It's been two and a half months that I've been in this company. I’ve delved into the world of business development in the FMCG sector which I've never experienced before. During my internship period, I was involved in various activities that encouraged an understanding of real business implementation. As an Assistant Customer Business Development, I got a lot of valuable insights to support business expansion. Challenges are opportunities, so strategic steps are needed when dealing with problems raised by customers. There were various unique things found in the Distribution Center because there were different characteristics. This encouraged me to understand territory management as a whole. I analyze the data to become a reference for the team to fulfill coverage in various channels. This is the basis for determining the allocation of support goods and promotions by the company. This condition can't be separated from the ability to think analytically and strategically to make the right decisions. Dynamic processes make me even more enthusiastic. Thanks Louise 😃 I had the pleasure of actively participating in Group AMANA internship and #Emiratization program. There is a great talent within the Emirati youth, and with the right opportunities, their potential can truly shine, making the future look bright. Interacting with the new joiners and interns, I tried focusing on some "uncommon" skills. The incredibly powerful tool of #activelistening to understand the others, focusing on the present moment without distraction. I conducted specific training on this, and people loved it! How mastering own emotions and understanding those of the people around you through #emotionalintelligence can drive success for everyone involved. The importance of communication, building trust, and fostering relationships with active #teambuilding. Working together as a team is often more productive than sitting alone in front of your laptop all day. I emphasized the importance of #understandingcontracts, whether it's a tenancy agreement, a mortgage, a construction contract or the privacy policy of a new app. Knowing what rights and obligations you have is a crucial skill in any discipline. This experience made me realize that it is also critical to recognize the revolutionary force that Gen. Z brings to the workplace. Consider the attitude of new Olympic athletes, whether they win or not—they are generally humble, appreciative of the experience, and thankful for the opportunity. What are your thoughts about this?
