most recruiters try to gauge your ctc online on the initial call itself (unless it is a well established + US/UK based + good headcount wali company/) based on that they try to judge the overall ctc concerns. today i received a call from a firm called medtigo (high chance they'd drop my candidature, isliye pehle hii naam mention kar ke s**tpost kar raha hoon). the lady at the outset asked for total experience and ctc. further she asked for MONTHLY TAKE HOME PAY!!! MKA ye kya chal raha hain Indian hiring scene mein?!! I upfront asked if there is some budget concern, toh she mentioned 'it is not in my hand'. the best strategy to follow while applying for a job scenario in current scene is more than 10k followers on LinkedIn.
