Around this time, nine years ago, Haqdarshak came into being. As we step into a new year (our tenth), we trace our steps back to the beginning. Aniket Doegar digs into some of the early months and reflects on how he met Mayank and Guns (Palamadai R Ganapathy), and how, together, they set up Haqdarshak as a ‘Pvt Ltd’ org, and not an NGO. Also, at a turning point in Haqdarshak’s story and in Aniket’s career, and not many people know this, Aniket took a one-crore loan on personal guarantee from friends and family back in 2018. This decision single-handedly saved Haqdarshak from being shelved, more on this soon! As we look ahead, we’re more determined than ever to build a future rooted in inclusion, access, and empowerment.
