White, wicker & whisky prawns 🍤 Fear, greed, regret 😞 & resolve 🙂 Let's go bottom up🥂 The two emotions that drives the stock market are fear and greed, everyone agrees🙋♀️. But regret is what we see most often in people who eventually want a planned approach to their personal finances. Regret of not starting on this course earlier. Everyone starts out with a DIY approach and then realises that for the long run it's good to get help. Most compounding examples use 30 years as the investment time horizon. If you are 45, then you don't have 30 years for compounding. And as "time"⏳, which is the exponential factor in the compounding equation becomes a constraint, the pressure and focus falls solely on the "returns" to generate the huge corpus required. Higher return is always at higher risk. ✨Starting early takes the pressure off the return meaning you don't have to take unnecessary risks and best part is you can start small. But 30 years works only if you stay the course and it's easy to be flaky! But what if you are in your forties and now setting out to plan for retirement !? ✨In the light of regret, blooms the resolve. It's not too late and the best part what we see is that the resolve to remain invested for the long run is stronger than ever. Because you understand what you missed and wouldn't do so again. Forties gives you a good 15-20 years time horizon ahead to remain invested. The mix of assets may vary as you also have to look at the prospect of investing for a fixed income in retirement. 💮💮💮 Last week, most memorable was a quiz 🧐 conducted by our operations team at the employee engagement programme. It was real, relevant, close to heart and home - it was a trivia on Namma Bengaluru🛣! A favourite was the question" Which area in Bengaluru is named after the composer of our national anthem❓" Here's another "Which area houses the largest pub in Bengaluru❓" Hennur, of course! If you are in Bangalore, Oia would be on your list of happening places in the city. So pick your reason, your friends and have a go! The food is fantastic! Awash in white🤍, wicker hanging lamps, candle light 🕯, music🎶🎵 - the place is noisy, bustling with guests, but you can find your space and in good company, have an enjoyable meal. And unlike assets, you visit eateries in their peak. Assets you buy when everyone else has lost interest !! And what are we celebrating? Happy new FY 2024-25 💜 🎶🎵 #personalfinance #wealthmanagement #investing

Retirement and Longevity! There are lots of opinions and strategies about Retirement and Longevity! Personally, I never plan to Retire! I’m sold out on Longevity and increasingly offering higher Value! Several years ago, I read a great book by Dan Sullivan – My Plan to Live to 156. His premise is that we all have an age we think we will live to. Ask yourself; How long do I think I will live? What’s your number? Mine was 82. Why, because that is how long my mom lived. After reading Dan’s book, I expanded my idea of life and started to think about living until 120. My new number changed everything! I looked at my current age and saw that I was only halfway through my life. I felt optimistic about life and the amount of time I had to do many of the things I hadn’t done yet! Instead of thinking I was near the end – UGH! I began thinking; I’m in the middle of my life and I have so much value to offer! I became a Master Life Coach and added a new division to my business – Coaching! I renewed my enthusiasm to stay healthy and added fun activities to my daily routine! Go Pickleball! Go Yoga! Go Golf! Go Hiking! Go! Go! Go! This opened my life to new friends and added more fun to my social life. I gave up habits that weren’t working for me. Goodbye, alcohol! Goodbye, those extra pounds! Goodbye, ruminating over years lost! Goodbye, feeling bummed that time was running out! All because I started living from a new perspective by changing the number I thought I would live from 82 to 120! How are your thoughts about Retirement and Longevity shaping who you are today?

Inspiring Financial Freedom and Clarity | Sustainable Investment Specialist | Founder, Conscious Money
I have been meditating a lot and worrying a lot less. Ruminating a lot less...Without past and future, mind can settle into now. So much of our anxiety about life and regrets/remorse about financial mistakes in the past are tied in to time. Yet, in our experience, there is only now. By the time you say now, that now is already in the past. Time exists in thought of course. Thoughts are but wispy ghosts that arrive from nowhere and that we give a lot of authority to. We identify with thoughts although they could be viewed as passing visitors. One common worry I see (and it is a valid worry) is about the future & retirement planning - will I have enough? Sometimes, the anxiety gets in the way of clear planning though. What is your big worry or regret and is it linked to time? If you didn't think, is it even here right now? I wonder... #mindfulness #anxiety #moneyandlife #regretsandremorse

Looking for financial solutions? Whether it's retirement planning, saving for college, or protecting your family’s future, I’ve got you covered! I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
Life can certainly have it's challenges. One perspective I totally live by and recommend is keeping things, situations as simple as possible. There is no value in complicating anything or making it hard. When we do, we can get stuck in the weeds. Ask yourself this, "At the end of the day what really matters?" Do that which is most important. When we complicate anything, we are just adding stress, frustration, to ourselves and others. Stop this. Your wellbeing and the wellbeing of others is at risk if you don't. How will you keep it simple today and this week? Remember..."Change your perspective, change your life!" Life is not always rainbows and butterflies. It is during those times of difficulties, failures, and low moments that our attitude is also tested. Should we wallow in our regrets? Should we gaslight our feelings? Should we blame other people? or Should we accept and face the fact that we also have shortcomings and to fall below of our own expectations is not something to be ashamed of. These moments can serve as our motivation to improve and do better next time around. Contact me we simplify your financial concern. #keepitsimple #simplify #simplifyyourlife #perspective #lifecoach #financialplanning #retirementplanning #pension #saving #investings #ad #retireready #retirewithmore
