In fact, our latest research shows that: - 56% of consumers are encouraged to act on limited offers. - 50% of consumers experience FOMO from limited offers. - 35% of consumers worry about missing a good deal. With a paid enrollment offer, your customers are given the chance to sign up for limited-time benefits or offers in exchange for a fee. These benefits can range from exclusive discounts, exclusive experiences, the opportunity to purchase a new product before the general public — or anything else you can imagine. Paid enrollment will be one of the biggest loyalty trends of 2024. 👋 Our team recently put together a data study about paid enrollment offers, which are limited-time offers that allow your customers to receive exciting benefits in exchange for a fee (think Taco Bell Taco Lover's Pass). 🌮 In addition to increasing customer engagement, they also provide a new revenue stream and can be launched quickly, without having to majorly revamp your program. But one of the most interesting things about paid enrollment is that it helps with two of the biggest loyalty program challenges - acquisition and retention. Generally, only loyalty program members can take advantage of paid enrollment offers. This gives a big incentive to sign up. ✋ For existing members that may have gone dormant, it's an exciting reason to re-engage with your loyalty program. 😴 We've launched several paid enrollment offers at ebbo and the brands we've partnered with have seen success. I'm excited to see more of these offers out in the wild this year!

Today's loyalty programs are plagued by a lack of #engagement. 1️⃣ Consumers are enrolled in too many programs (18 pp on avg. in the US according to Bond Brand Loyalty) 2️⃣ Redemption rates are egregiously low (avg. of 14% according to Smile.io) Without members actively engaging with your program, it will become a huge cost center that only rewards passive, non-incremental behaviors. Felt compelled to share my customer experience with Fabletics A few months back, I was successfully converted by an 80% off sale on Instagram by Fabletics. While I'm super thrilled with the quality and the style of the clothing, in fact they're in my weekly gym rotation, I was left less than thrilled this morning by a $59.95 charge from Fabletics. What I was unaware of by shopping this 80% off deal, is that I unknowingly signed up for the Fabletics VIP Membership. Looking back at my bank statements, I have been billed $59.95 for the last few months. Now, am I at fault for being an uninformed consumer and maybe an even more uninformed controller of my personal finance? Yes. However, I still feel as though I had been duped. The icing on the cake? A struggle navigating their website to be able to cancel this membership, which led to having to make the dreaded phone call to a ✨Customer Service Representative✨ My phone call mostly consisted of upsells and routes to freeze or pause my subscription as opposed to cancelling. Now, she was just doing her job, but the persistence was not my fav thing to be dealing with at this time. In fact, it only made me angrier than I already was. Not at her, but at myself for even allowing this to happen. More increasingly, at Fabletics for sneakily nabbing my valuable recurring revenue. They did exactly what they set out to do, hide their expensive membership program in some fine print, hoping I was dumb enough to not sniff it out. Which, I'll admit, I was. Being in the subscription industry myself, I find transparency and an easy cancellation route for the customer to be supremely important. After all, what better way to ensure you will NOT regain a customer than by leaving them, for the lack of a better word, pissed off. Anyways, thanks for reading. I'll quit my whining. k thx byeeeee.
