If you were a Lego person, which one would you be? As a bit of fun leading up to our recent 'Let's Go' (Lego themed) team day, everyone was asked to provide a picture of a Lego minifigure that they felt represented them, then we asked the team to guess who belonged to each figure. Everyone found this exercise surprisingly challenging and there weren't many high scores! We also had a 30-minute Lego tower build challenge where points were awarded for the tallest, most profitable and stable tower. Fun team days like this are important not only for fostering camaraderie but also for encouraging creativity and teamwork. Amidst the laughter and friendly competition, we were reminded that individuality shines through even in the smallest of building blocks. Understanding each other's unique perspectives and strengths is crucial for any successful team, and our Lego-themed day truly highlighted this. What about you? There is something to THINK ABOUT HERE. Now just look at the PICTURE on the lower right' of the Laptop, then notice how the Latin Alphabet is displayed with only the CAPITAL LETTERS😱 and that's how it LOOKS' on almost all KEYBOARDS in use today. Do YOU remember what the alphabet looked like in YOUR primary school class, small pieces of cardboard that still hang in one long row on the wall in many classrooms. So we all could and still SEE the entire Latin alphabet, with both CAPITAL and lowercase letters. Time for some Wednesday #ABOUT I was reading about a huge Lego festival coming to Yorkshire this weekend (see link in comments) so thought I'd share a couple of Lego facts this week. Did you know LEGO got its name from the Danish phrase "leg godt," which means "play well." The company was founded by Ole Kirk Christiansen in 1932, and he combined the two Danish words to form the name LEGO in 1934. Interestingly, some believe that it also gets its name from the Latin "lego", meaning "I put together" or "I assemble", which is fitting given the nature of LEGO's building blocks. #Lego #buildingblocks #buildit
