Reports of data breaches in the US have surged by 90% in Q1, 2024. Cyber-attacks were identified as the main cause of these breaches, according to the Identity Theft Resource Center (ITRC). The non-profit said the number of companies impacted by these threats more than tripled compared to the same period in 2023.
