Regardless of what they say or whether they acknowledge your support, remember two things: Firstly, you helped them not for recognition, but because it's the right thing to do. Secondly, no matter how much they criticize, they can't deny your help. Keep being a creator and a supporter, and don't rely on divisive tactics.
