‼️Caregivers are primarily family members. It can be hard to distinguish yourself between being a helpful son-daughter-sister-brother-father-mother-aunt-uncle-grandchild-SPOUSE and a full time caregiver. Caregiving is a demanding “job”! That unpaid and often expensive commitment can make It difficult to make ends meet. There are avenues caregivers can follow to access funding for paid compensation for supportive services! Patient advocates assist caregivers in accessing such programs which can help alleviate caregiver burden. Patient advocates not only help the patients but we help the involved loved ones.
