"I never know how to start my week, so I jump immediately into chaos." This is what a coaching client shared with me recently. Here’s the advice I gave them: 1)Clear the Clutter Take a few minutes to organize your workspace or inbox. Mental clarity often begins with a clean space. 2)Set One Big Goal and a Few Small Steps Identify what matters most for the week and break it into manageable actions. Block time on your calendar to focus on these priorities. Each week, I review my key roles and define the one thing I need to accomplish—it goes directly on my calendar. 3)Time Block Your Week Reserve dedicated time for your tasks and goals. This structure will help you stay on track and make meaningful progress.

Today, I’m letting you peek into how I plan my week. Planning starts the Saturday before the new week. Here's what I do: 📝 I gather all the tasks on my calendar, plus any additional ones, and write them down. ⏰ I review any upcoming deadlines: This helps me ensure I'm on track. 📊 I prioritize all tasks using the Eisenhower Matrix. This way, it is easier to focus on what really matters. 🗓️ I break all of these into a daily to-do list, block time for each day. I also make sure I add time for rest and unexpected tasks. Life happens right? 😉 🙃 By Sunday evenings, I just go through my plan, to ensure all things are in place. Especially NON-NEGOTIABLE tasks. The goal is not to overbook myself but to stay flexible and intentional.✨ 🎤 Over to you. How do you plan your week? Let’s talk in the comment section. I’m Victoria Uzendu, and with me by your side, turning your productive days into a walk in the park is possible. Staying organized at work isn't just about keeping a tidy desk (although that helps!). It's about setting yourself up for success by planning your week and managing your time effectively. Here's how to: 📋Prep: Take 30 minutes to review upcoming deadlines, meetings, and tasks. Prioritize them based on importance and urgency. 📅Schedule It In: Block off time in your calendar for focused work on specific tasks. This helps avoid procrastination and keeps you on track. 📝To-Do List Love: Start your week with a clear to-do list for each day. This keeps your goals in sight and helps you stay accountable. Start planning your week and don't let the Monday blues get you down! #Motivation #Planning #WorkOrganization #Productivity #CoreStrategyPartners

Worried your week controls you, instead of the other way around? I use a structured weekly routine: I dedicate specific days to specific types of tasks, e.g., Monday for planning, Tuesday for deep work, etc. This approach helps in managing my energy and focus throughout the week effectively. A great way to regain control of my time and ensure a balanced, productive week. Give it a go and let me know how you get on!
