When you love who you work with… Every day feels more fulfilling Every task seems more manageable And every goal appears more achievable. It’s not just about having fun, it’s about celebrating together. Celebrations bind us, reminding us that our efforts have meaning beyond the bottom line. They reinforce our connections and energize us to push forward, together. So, take a moment to look around at your team. These are the people who battle alongside you in the trenches, who share in your struggles, and who cheer on your victories. And remember, celebrating doesn’t require a fancy gala or big party. Small acknowledgments can have a big impact. A spontaneous lunch, a team shout-out in a meeting, or a simple thank-you note can uplift spirits and strengthen bonds. Do what works for you, but most importantly, remember: Celebrate every win, big or small.

A personal post from RES President Gail Behun: As we celebrate Pride Month, I want to share a deeply personal journey that has shaped me both as a parent and as a leader. A few years ago, my child came out as non-binary. This revelation brought a whirlwind of emotions and learning curves. I realized that my expectations as a parent needed to evolve. I had to educate myself, adapt, and grow to become the parent they needed. It was a journey of understanding, acceptance, and unconditional love. This experience taught me invaluable lessons that parallel my professional life. As a leader, I've learned the importance of embracing diversity in the workforce. Just as each child requires different things from their parent, each team member has unique needs and aspirations. It's our responsibility as leaders to recognize and support these individual journeys. Pride isn't just about rainbow flags and parades; it's about introspection and growth. It's about recognizing how diversity enhances our lives and our work. By embracing our differences, we create environments where everyone feels valued and empowered. This Pride Month, let's not just celebrate externally but also look inward. Let's acknowledge the growth, love, and acceptance that the rainbow represents within each of us. Together, we can build a more inclusive and supportive world.

Remember when you were a kid and someone praised you for something you did, no matter how small it was? You felt an overwhelming sense of pride and happiness, right? Well, that feeling never really goes away. It's still there, waiting for us to appreciate it. 🌟 Recognising and celebrating our achievements, big or small, is a brilliant way to keep ourselves motivated and happy. Whether it's finishing a tiny task or reaching a major milestone, we should take a moment to pat ourselves on the back and say, "Well done!" 👏 You don't need to go all out with massive celebrations. Sometimes, it's the little things that bring the most joy. 📚🍴🏃♂️ Whether it's curling up with a good book, treating yourself to your favourite meal, or going for a run in the park, find what makes you happy and take a moment to enjoy it. 🌿💖 We often forget to give ourselves credit for our hard work and dedication. We thrive on recognition, just like kids do when they get praised for doing their best work. So, take a step back and celebrate your wins, no matter how small they might seem. 🏅 Let's make it a habit to acknowledge and celebrate every achievement. It's a fantastic way to boost our mood, stay focused, and remind ourselves that we're capable of amazing things. 🎊✨ So, keep shining and don't forget to celebrate YOU! 🌟✨

Major props to one of the giants of ResProp Management, Angela Aguilar, celebrating her five-year anniversary with our team! 👉 Angela is a standout leader in so many ways. Most importantly, she’s a servant leader – she’s always hyper-attentive to the needs of the teams she leads, and digs in to help them get the work done – never afraid to dive deep and help push things forward. 💥But Angela is also a fierce competitor. Think about the affect Michael Jordan had on anyone who played on the same court–he elevated everyone’s game. On Michael’s court, you can't just show up and play–you come and give it your ALL. 👉 Same with Angela – when she commits to anything, it instantly motivates the team and suddenly they find a new gear to complete something that was previously unreachable. It’s a pleasure to work with you Angela – it’s been great fun (with a huge dose of HARD WORK) to build out ResProp with you. Last word here – Angela’s work ethic is unmatched. You literally have to peel her away from her work. This passion is infectious and again, is something that motivates everyone around her. Can’t wait to see what the next 5 years bring us–and while we’re at it, let’s make it 50 more! #workanniversary #leader #FAWOMO

Day 60. You can’t integrate what you don’t celebrate. It’s been 60 days of these posts, of which I’m officially deeming another milestone achieved. As a result, a celebration is in order. Celebrating achievements is an important part of any plan. Recognizing what we have accomplished fuels us to keep going further, to keep integrating actions into our daily routine and to keep forming new habits. So, yeah - hurray, it’s a celebration! But wait, it’s also another little piece of advice at the same time. Go figure? Keep on celebrating to keep on integrating.

Celebrating Father’s Day reminds us of the joy and pride we feel when our roles are recognized and appreciated. This sense of fulfillment should extend to our professional lives as well. It’s essential to stay committed to our responsibilities without always seeking personal achievements. True success isn't just about individual accomplishments; it’s about contributing to the collective victory of our team. When our team succeeds, we succeed – this shared triumph is a more meaningful and enriching form of success. By focusing on the success of our team, we foster a more collaborative and supportive work environment. This collective effort not only leads to greater achievements but also builds stronger, more resilient teams. Ultimately, our individual success is intertwined with the success of those around us, making every victory a shared celebration.

As we celebrate #Easter, a time rich with its own global and varied #traditions, it's a fitting moment to reflect on how these customs shape and reflect our values and actions. 🦋 Easter itself, with its themes of renewal and rebirth, encourages us to consider which traditions are worth carrying forward and which may need rejuvenation. In the business world, for example, traditional approaches often lay the groundwork for operational success. Yet, the rapidly changing technological landscape and shifting societal values challenge us to adapt and innovate. By blending respected traditions with fresh, innovative strategies, we can navigate the complexities of modern business environments more effectively.☀️ This Easter, let's embrace the opportunity to balance our cherished traditions with the openness to evolve. As leaders, professionals, and individuals, it’s crucial to discern which practices bolster our growth and which might hinder our progress. Let's carry forward the spirit of renewal that Easter embodies and apply it not just to personal lives but also to our professional practices, ensuring that our traditions empower rather than inhibit evolution.💚 May this Easter inspire you to honor the past, celebrate the present, and innovate for the future. Happy Easter to all celebrating! 🕯️

Acknowledge. Embrace. Appreciate. Celebrate. These four words have been echoing in my mind lately, especially as I take some time out of my schedule to nominate some truly wonderful people for the Nursery Management Today NMT Awards. It's so easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday work that we sometimes forget to give credit where it's due. But recognising the efforts of those around us is more than just a nice gesture - it's essential. When we take the time to acknowledge and celebrate others, we not only lift them up but also create a culture of positivity and encouragement. So, today, I'm making it a point to embrace this opportunity to show appreciation for the people who inspire and motivate me. Let's face it, we're all in this together, and it's important to celebrate the wins, big or small. After all, a rising tide lifts all boats, and by celebrating others, we're all lifted higher. 😊 Have you thought about who you can acknowledge today? Let’s make it a habit! #NMTawards #CelebrateSuccess #TeamSpirit
