Ensure Optimal Installation of Your Interactive Digital Screen! 🛠️📏🖥️🔧 Installing an interactive digital screen, whether in a school or any other organization, requires meticulous preparation and specific equipment. Here are the essential steps and conditions to consider for a successful installation: 1️⃣ Ensure that the room is available and empty to accommodate the equipment properly. 2️⃣ Make sure the space is properly laid out to accommodate a device of this size. 3️⃣ Technicians responsible for the installation should have the necessary tools, such as a tape measure, level, drill, and screws to mount the screen on the wall. 4️⃣ Involve end users (teachers, employees, etc.) during the installation to ensure their needs are met and they understand how to use the equipment. 5️⃣ Verify that all software aspects are in place, including necessary software, Wi-Fi connection, HDMI and USB cables, etc. In summary, installing an interactive digital screen requires careful planning, effective coordination with end users, and adequate equipment to ensure successful deployment. Calling all electricians & Low Voltage Installers! 💡⚡ PoEWit has the Ultimate Solution for upgrading your IP camera installations! Our new WP-6 Tunable Color/White Wall Pack does not require any new cabling thanks to our new driver, the UPD-1-PT. This new driver reduces your cost upon Installation by allowing you to power several lights all daisy-chained to one driver. Worried about energy consumption and performance? The good news is they are energy-efficient, need only 60W to run and reach a brightness of 5,500 lumens (approx.). Your clients will thank you for the upgrade 😉 As they are low voltage, a technician would only need to take the existing Cat cable that is powering the camera and plug it into the "PoE In port" of the UPD-1-PT driver. Then, use the pass-through ports, re-power the IP camera, and add an additional motion sensor or another light. The MD-1 motion sensor, camera motion outputs, and alarm triggers can trigger your wall pack. The motion sensor can control one light or many lights, and the WP-6 can be programmed and set on an automatic schedule through the 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄 PoEWit App. #technology #newtechnology #technologyinnovation #electrician #electricians #electricianlife #easy #installation #installations #installationview #electronic #dealer #dealership #dealers #dealerships #smarthome #homesmart #lighting #lightingdesign #lightingdesigner #lightingtech #lightingproject

➡️ TO CAMERA ➡️ TO CAMERA ➡️ TO CAMERA 😱 💰 This could have prevented Millions of dollars of mistakes 💰 😱 If only they'd have thought of it sooner . . . . ❓ Why does it say that on SMPTE Cables❓ I'll bet you clever endeavorers already figured it out. So you don't run the cable backward, right? It's one thing to run it backward when you're setting up for a show. That's a pain, no doubt. Now, imagine installing *permanent* SMTPE cables backward. . . for an ENTIRE venue . . . I've seen it, and I'll bet a few of you have as well. The good news is that there is a surefire way to avoid this. Hire The Fiber Guy!! When you hire a company who's technicians actually work on the shows that take place in your venue. You will ensure that we will help you choose the exact right cabling and connectors, and we will not run it backward.

Knowing signals for faster and smoother installations When installing our iHelm system onboard vessels we have discovered room for improvements that will improve the time installations the installation takes. One of the primary challenges in installation revolves around the unfamiliarity of vessel owners and captains with the vessel’s signals. Compare this to a scenario of ordering a new TV and having an installation technician come to the house to set it up. If the technician arrives and there is no electrical outlet where the TV should be, or if the power in the outlet and the cable don’t match, it will take time to fix that. Like the TV analogy, our technicians often face this problem when arriving at the vessel. The owners and captains aren’t aware of where the location of the signal is or what the signals are. A seamless installation is contingent upon connecting to the right signals onboard. What can you do? This is mostly a problem for older analog vessels, looking back at the TV analogy this can be compared with analog TV and smart TV. Analog TV requires more calibration and knowledge of the signals. Knowing your vessel, signals, and all, the installation of iHelm and other systems onboard will be quicker and smoother. In this digital world, the chances of you installing a digital solution onboard your vessel are large. Make sure you learn your signals today to save time for your installations tomorrow. #maritime #ihelmplatform #sustainability #installations #vesselsignals

Troubleshooting an open circuit on a Class A speaker circuit with around 30 suites, with 2-3 speakers per suite. My preferred method is to put a different EOL value on the feed and return and disconnect them from the panel. Theres a few reasons for this… -If you leave them wired in when opening the circuit you have to allow the speakers to discharge beyond the open or you’ll get varying readings from the capacitors. -You won’t know which way is the feed or return when both sides show the same reading IE 24VDC -A toner won’t work properly on a live circuit, even if the open is only on one leg of the circuit. Random details: I grabbed my endoscopic camera from my truck and found a hidden junction box nearby that appeared to be power for lighting, which isn’t a total loss because if they hid that junction box above the ceiling maybe they hid a fire alarm jb. I made an attempt at using the ground wire as a replacement feed conductor between suites for a quick temporary repair on the speakers open on positive conductor, until the final repair was conducted, but there was a ground in between suites… which suggested there may be a hidden junction in between the suites that may have come loose…. or the conductors are crushed in the slab between suites. The end result here appears to be an open circuit in the slab wiring between suites. This is kind of worse case scenerio because the devices are mounted directly to the slab, they didn’t have drop ceilings and will require a pretty invasive repair. Before diving into the repair we’re going to do a series of tests to be 100% certain the break is between suites by running a temporary wire from one suite to another, making it Class B and inspecting all suites for speaker operation. This one was fun, pardon my sweaty face and shakey camera. I’m a technician, not Stephen Spielberg.
