Yesterday, our team conducted a local staff training where I presented the teachers training alongside my two coordinators for our upcoming summer program. One of the key points that came out of the recent skills analysis was the need for heritage organisations to collaborate. With this in mind I’m raising my hand and saying we would love to collaborate with you and help deliver your heritage training. Heritage grants often come with the need to include skills trainings which sadly often results in ‘tick box’ events when this funding could be used to provide structured, expert training and make a real difference to the skills crisis. If you have a need to provide skills training then please reach out. If we can’t help personally then we are likely to know someone who can.
