From the President's blog: "On April 1st, we held a ceremony to welcome 388 new employees to the company. This year we were able to bring everyone together for the ceremony, unlike in previous years where the event took place in different locations. It was a pleasure to be able to see everyone's face and address them personally. For all new employees, [their next step] is to receive practical training at one of our 15 manufacturing bases across Japan. What's Next? Yesterday 395,870 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination candidates received their results. Congratulations for everyone. Regardless whether the confetti of excitement on stellar result or dust of sadness on less-than-satisfactory result has settled - one question remained. What's next? Where do they go from here? While some have clear idea what they want to do, but many do not. Sebelum ni just fikir nak lepas exam. Or the result doesn't meet the entry requirement for certain course. For parents, guardian, uncle auntie and those that can influence them - just one advice. Never set their destination in stone - because you want it. Telling them must take mechanical engineering because YOU want an engineer in the family. Telling them must take medical course because YOU want to brag with siblings during hari raya. Telling them must go flying school because YOU want to tell your arch-rival neighbor that your daughter will become a pilot. You can coach them. You can guide them. You can provide information. You can steer them to the right direction. But make sure it is something that they want to do, or at least they are capable to do. You should understand better on their capability by now. Not something that they must do just because of your own personal desire & nothing to do with them. It is their future. Not to fill in some void in your ego or past weakness.
