We are proud to have served as knowledge partners for the ‘Cooling India’s Cities’ workshop in Vijayawada -  hosted by Tabreed India, in collaboration with Bureau of Energy Efficiency (ऊर्जा दक्षता ब्यूरो) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.  District Cooling is an innovative technology that helps reduce overall consumption of power by at least 40% and facilitates resource circularity in our ecosystem. The event was part of a series, designed to bring together diverse stakeholders including government officials, utilities, private sector, developers, consultants, research institutes, civil society, and media representatives, to take forward the conversation on sustainable cooling. We had an inspiring conversation with Shri. Shekhar Singh, PCMC Municipal Commissioner, who displays great foresight in his leadership. We learnt about the sustainability initiatives and plans for the future being actioned by the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), and shared our work at Kubernein, especially in the space of #water, #cities and #climate. During a session on current challenges and opportunities for women in foreign policy, Hritik presented on avenues for gender mainstreaming in international trade & shared insights from our work on gender and foreign policy.
