We received an insider's look into the heart of a system that flawlessly moves 8.5M garments weekly. 🤖 Advanced Automation: The DC features highly advanced automation, capable of performing up to 700 movements per hour. This includes automatic garment sorting, packaging, and preparation for shipment. 🌍 Connection to the Global Network: The DC serves not only local or regional stores but is part of a global logistics network. This means it has connections with both Inditex's suppliers and its worldwide network of stores, ensuring products can be efficiently distributed anywhere in the world. ♻️ Sustainability and Efficiency: Inditex implements sustainability measures, including the use of renewable energies and advanced waste management systems. 50% of their manufactures are strategically placed close to their HQ, mainly in Portugal, Turkey, and Morocco, enhancing production responsiveness and reducing the environmental impact. 🛍️ Customer-Centric Innovations: At every stage, Inditex’s process is designed around the #consumer, with stores receiving updates twice per week to meet emerging customer demands in real-time. With the use of #RFID technology, they perform 10,000 stock checks per minute, integrating stock management across all brands. This #digital, end-to-end approach, supported by a high ability to use data analytics, allows Inditex to meet emerging customer demands better and faster. We had also the opportunity to listen to 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿í𝗮 𝗔𝗹𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘇 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗼, their Director of Strategy, that reaffirmed the pivotal role of the consumer in their decision-making, underlining their commitment to sustainable innovation, global online integration, and the Next Generation Store concept. This visit not only showcased Inditex's robust logistics model but also their forward-thinking approach in keeping the consumer at the forefront. When will Hanes reach out to us and being converting some of the 1000's of tons of fabric they dye, and move just 10 Tons/ to circularity. NDX Circularity will stop their solid waste from dyeing completely, will stop all dyestuff from entering our Circular ETP which we supply with our system. We will reduce the energy of the dye machines by 25% or more, and the Wastewater Treatment plant by 66.7% or more. And now get this; will bring you dyeing plant/dyeing machines water consumption down to only 1.7 liters/kilo for black. That I know is the lowest possible amount of water that can be used for dyeing cotton fabric. And why are they not using Circularity in dyeing cotton fabrics as it is available and we have reached out to them. Why not. Be the icon you need to be and lead. Selling off a brand is one way to strengthen and simplify, but how about reducing water, reducing energy, eliminating solid waste with a simple plug and play solution that integrates with your current dyeing machinery! Then it gets simplier and you get praised for leading the industry to the new way to operate a cotton or cotton blend vertical positioned dyeing facility and brand, by trying Circularity and then tell the industry who amazing this is. You will.
