Eng-Port 🌍🚀 Analyzing the Global EdTech Landscape in 2024: Insights from Time's Rankings! A few months ago, TIME magazine published its highly anticipated ranking of the 250 most relevant EdTechs worldwide, along with highlighting the rising stars in the sector for this year. Based on this information, I compiled and visualized the data to bring valuable insights: 🌎 Presence in Latin America: Out of the 250 EdTechs listed, 15 are present in Latin America, representing 6% of the total. Brazil leads with 8 featured companies (3.2%): Afya, Árvore, Descomplica, EADBOX, Geekie, Imaginie, Veduca Edtech, and Vitru Educação. Mexico follows with 3 EdTechs (1.2%): Crehana, Kinedu, and Lottus Education. Argentina has Digital House and Wisboo (0.8%). Chile has Open Green Road (0.4%), and Colombia has Kuepa Edutech (0.4%). 🌐 Global Distribution: The United States dominates the global landscape with 90 EdTechs in the ranking (36%), followed by China with 25 (10%, highlighting the impact of recent regulations on the EdTech sector), the United Kingdom with 16 (6.4%), and India with 14 (5.6%). 🚀 Rising Stars: Among the 15 most promising EdTechs, 5 are North American (33.3%) and 2 are Indian (13.3%), representing a significant percentage of the total. 📊 To provide a better visualization of these data, I compiled everything into an interactive Excel table, making it easier to analyze and understand global trends in the EdTech sector. Com base nessas informações, compilei e visualizei os dados para trazer insights valiosos: 🌎 Presença na América Latina: Das 250 EdTechs listadas, 15 estão presentes na América Latina, representando 6% do total. O Brasil lidera com 8 empresas destacadas (3,2%): Afya, Árvore, Descomplica, Eadbox, Geekie, Imaginie, Veduca e Vitru Education.
