Time to Say Goodbye - Farewell, Vivo Pakistan As an ambitious MTO at Vivo Pakistan, I had the opportunity to learn and explore diverse avenues. From branding and terminals to sales and training, each department offered unique challenges and valuable lessons. While I cherished the diverse experiences, sales truly ignited my passion. How sports teams can share stories about where they're from in a way that really connects with people? Take SSC Bari S.p.A. and Kappa, for example. They've done a new campaign to introduce the Third Special Edition Collection and that shows off their city. You can almost feel like you're there, whether it's by the sea or seeing a Fiat drive by. It's not only about capturing the club but also about the city. That feeling you get from these stories is what makes you care about a team. Whether you're from a big city or a smaller town, showing off what makes your city or town special is key. Most sports teams only talk about training and games. But being a fan is about more than that, right? What else makes you feel like you belong to a team and a place? By sharing these stories, you're giving your fans something to connect to. It could be a sense of pride in where they're from, or maybe even make them feel like they're part of something new where they want to go. Good job Kappa!

Product Owner |Strategic Product Management (IIM Visakhapatnam 2024-25)|Executive Business Management- IIM Kozhikode (2024-25)
I would like to congratulate and thanks Gillette India Product Team for launching Gillette Guard as a Product in Indian Market which suits best for a kind of beard I have and shaving pattern, it gives me hassle-free experience and I am sure it will be helpful for numbers of people in Indian Market.. Although Gillette had already bunch of costly and high features razor available in market e.g. Gillette Mach 3, Gillette Mach 5 and many more but none of these was useful for me and my kind of beard and shaving pattern. Sometimes I wonder when Gillette had bunch of successful products already available in the market,How they identified the need of the Customer and launched Gillette Guard which suits best to my kind of users.. Product Managers can help to answer this question, which technique and methods they have applied to identify the need of this Customer Segment which was missing despite bunch of fancy and high class razors already available in Market. This reminds me one of the key learning point to be Innovative and adoptive and always welcome feedback and use feedback in Product Journey to keep longer in Growth Phase and Delay Product Maturity phase. Thanks #ThanksGilletteIndia

Just this week, I started my journey at Miniso and starting fresh always feels a bit like the first day of school—new faces, new expectations, and that constant question: “Am I doing this right?” Here’s what’s helping me keep the nerves in check: Give Yourself Grace I’m reminding myself daily that it’s okay not to have all the answers yet. There’s a learning curve, and I’m embracing it, one step at a time. Connect with People I’ve been making an effort to chat with my new colleagues, and it’s making a world of difference. It’s reassuring to know that everyone’s rooting for each other. Small Wins Matter 🏆 I’m breaking my to-do list into bite-sized pieces and celebrating each little win. Did I find a potential partner today? That’s a win. Figured out a new process? Another win. Ask for Feedback (and Actually Listen!) 🎧 I’m trying to get as much feedback as I can early on. It’s been super helpful to know what’s working and where I can improve—plus, it shows I care about doing my best. Remember Your Why 🔍 I keep reminding myself why I took this role in the first place: to grow, to challenge myself, and to make a difference. When anxiety creeps in, I focus on that. Starting something new isn’t always easy, but it’s all part of the adventure. If you’re also in a new role or facing similar feelings, just know you’re not alone—we’re all figuring it out together.

As I drove away from Starbucks with my chestnut praline latte in hand, prepared with love by my daughter at her new location, I couldn’t help but think that just a year ago someone had told her she wouldn’t be able to do this job. As she worked in stocking at Target for a seasonal position, she requested cross training at their store’s Starbucks, something that interested her very much. Her supervisor told her she didn’t quite have the right personality. Managers, if you are going to stick someone in the back room by themselves for hours and not give them opportunity for you to observe them interacting with customers, how is that fair to assess those skills? It wasn’t long before my girl quit that seasonal job and actually found an in-store Starbucks which hired her right away. She became one of their best employees, moving up quickly to train others, and eventually moved on to her current position in a standalone Starbucks, which was her original dream job for her high school years. What if she had taken that first supervisor at his word, and believed that she wasn’t the right personality for that position? She would have missed the opportunity to form connections with the regulars, learn to stay calm while productive under pressure (Red Cup Day—need I say more?), and enjoy the added bonus of the perks of working for corporate rather than the in-store locations. I would like to think that once she heard she “couldn’t do it,” it motivated her all the more with the response of “watch me.” How many times have we had voices tell us we can’t, and how many times have we believed them? These can come from those who don’t truly know us, or even from well-meaning family members. The important thing to remember when making those choices or taking those risks is your why. Why do you want to do this? What qualities do YOU know you possess that will contribute to your success? Who can you lean on for support as you move forward with your choice?

Bridging the gap between brand, marketing, and sales, helping fast-moving companies sell more and maximize profit.
I remember the thrill of driving home from the Bacardi Office at 19, having just locked in my first role as a Sales Merchandiser. I still recall the email that changed everything: I’d landed a job with Bacardi Canada. Bacardi - one of the biggest brands in the world. For a kid from Pitt Meadows, BC, this felt like hitting the jackpot. I had goosebumps driving home, thinking my life was about to change. Before this, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do professionally. My early ambitions? A teacher, to lead and educate, or a cop, to protect and serve. And now, I was in the booze business? This role is where I found my passion for brand building, marketing, and sales. I became obsessed with learning everything I could about the industry. I’d work weekends, dress the part, and soak up knowledge from my mentors. I was all in. We all have that first love—the job that made us feel part of something bigger. What was yours? I’d love to hear your story. #smallbusiness #founders #career #personalgrowth #entrepreneurs

Pradeep Racherla recently posted a story about Cadbury's 5-star commercial about "Doing Nothing". That triggered my Friday thought experiment - Can you be Sincere, yet Lazy? Let me know your thoughts. Link to original post : https://lnkd.in/gMsW2iWX) Title: The Paradox of Sincerity and Laziness: A Double-Edged Sword The interplay between sincerity and laziness creates a complex dynamic that can be both a source of strength and a stumbling block. The sincerity of a person with a lazy disposition may be a beacon of authenticity, fostering genuine connections and interactions. Yet, the reluctance to overcome laziness can impede personal and professional growth. Striking a balance between sincerity and a proactive approach is essential for harnessing the positive aspects of both traits, ensuring a more fulfilling and successful life journey. As individuals navigate this paradox, self-reflection, and a commitment to personal development become crucial in unlocking the true potential hidden within the sincere but lazy persona. The Virtue of Sincerity: Sincerity, often hailed as a virtue, reflects an individual's genuineness and honesty in their thoughts, words, and actions. A sincere person speaks from the heart, upholding integrity and authenticity in their relationships and endeavors. Sincerity fosters trust, deepens connections, and establishes a foundation for meaningful interactions. The Vice of Laziness: On the other hand, laziness carries a negative connotation, often associated with a lack of motivation, discipline, and productivity. Laziness can impede personal growth, hinder professional success, and strain relationships. It is commonly perceived as a stumbling block on the path to achievement and self-improvement. The Sincere but Lazy Conundrum: When sincerity and laziness coalesce, a unique conundrum emerges. The individual may possess genuine intentions, harboring a sincere desire to contribute positively to their environment, yet find themselves hindered by a reluctance to exert effort. This paradoxical combination can manifest in various aspects of life. The Positive Perspective: From a positive standpoint, a sincere but lazy individual may be driven by an innate aversion to pretense and a commitment to authenticity. In a world often clouded by superficiality, their sincerity can stand as a beacon of truth. This genuine approach can create an environment where relationships are built on honesty, and endeavors are pursued. The Pitfalls: However, the sincere but lazy disposition is not without its pitfalls. While sincerity may earn the admiration of others, laziness can undermine the realization of one's full potential. The reluctance to invest effort may lead to missed opportunities, unfulfilled aspirations, and a perpetual state of unrealized potential.

Good morning Linked In! Happy Monday to you all and I hope everyone managed to snatch some sunshine the past couple of days. I, myself made the most of my Saturday with a good friend, enjoying some very delicious grub at one of my local gastropubs. 😊 You'll never see me without a smile when there's good food around. 😂 Last night, rounding off the weekend with a night shoot with the infamous Morrisons supermarket. What a shoot it was too, celebrating 125 years of Morrisons. Who knew they have been around for THAT long!! Impressive 🤩 One of the things I noticed about the night crew was how well they looked after every single person be it crew or cast. Hero role, Supporting artist, AD, Runner, camera men, you name it, everyone had a light of importance which I believe is exactly how it should be. 🙏 And Morrisons, let's just say they know how to take care of their people. There is no Ying without the Yang (and vice versa), as there is no complete production without it's planned parts. Therefore it is important to always remember the impact every person has on the team and project as a whole. Not only in productions but in every industry. 👭🧑🤝🧑 We have all experienced the senior or lead who think they're better than everyone else. The ones who forget the reason they also have work is because of the people they tend to belittle or the one who feels they're better than everyone else / better than their position apparently says so and tries to stomp around the ground mad. One reminder today. Don't be those people. Remind yourself of the mantra: "Team work makes the dream work." There's a reason why it is so. 🦸🦸♀️🦸♂️ Be the leader your team aspires to be! Anyway, that's about it for today. I hope you have an amazing Monday and are both inspired and inspire many others in your workplace. ❤️ #inspiration #leadership #positiveimpact #motivationmonday #motivate #teamwork

Are you afraid of rejection? "Rejection is not a reflection of your worth and credibility! Even Starbucks faced 217 rejections before brewing success. If they had given up after facing rejection, they would never have built a big multinational company." Don't let 'no' define your journey. Every 'yes' starts with perseverance. Believe in yourself, and your vision will eventually resonate with the world. Keep pushing forward, greatness awaits! P.S. Have you ever faced rejection, how did you handle it?
