Dear friends I get on to LinkedIn...and this post greets me And I wonder I wonder why Indians are so crazy about "economic growth & development," about acquiring more and more "material benefits" I wonder because I see Indians compromising on their ethics, and their values, all in the pursuit of "more," "More," and "MORE" For e.g., the tune "Yeh Dil Mange More" sounded oh so nice, but what was it for? To make more and more people to drink "loaded with chemicals & pesticides," colored, sugared, flavored and aerated water, that's all, and in the bargain, have dental caries because of overdrinking etc It is not as if Indians did not know that they have to protect their land [their "Mother Earth"], and Nature [even calling it "Mother Nature"] It is just that the crappy system of education, the Macaulay system, totally messed up with Sanathana Dharma, and there are at least 10 generations of "culture zombies," i.e., people born into Sanathana Dharma, but know zilch about it, and so they title themselves "Global Citizens" And I know, and they know, that they "neither fit in there, nor do they fit in here" So, I want to wake up all people at least on LinkedIn, what are you doing to protect Mother Earth? And Mother Nature? Don't tell me your office building has landscaped gardens, and there are indoor plants everywhere etc Tell me what you are doing...for e.g., are you taking care of even one plant? Watering it, pruning it, having it re-potted etc? If you are not, then you are a "traitor"!!! No, no, not a traitor like anti-India traitor etc But a traitor Who betrayed the belief that His or her parents, and teachers Had in him or her Because If I remember rightly Your grandparents And your parents And your teachers They did teach you To Love Nature and To Protect Nature By taking you to the parks, and having a picnic etc Don't you remember? So, what are you doing to protect Mother Nature? Because If all of you are doing so Then Ramveer Tanwar (PondMan) will be out of a job!!! As also Praveen Kumar Anand, Anand Malligavad, Nimal Raghavan, and the 100s and 1000s of others in India who are doing your job for you... Are you feeling guilty enough? Then my job is done ;-) I recommend you get in touch with all of the above, some of the above, or at least, one of the above, and do "DONATE," both as an individual, and make your company also, to DONATE...money, manpower's time, and the other 2 M's if possible All of you my above friends, you guys are doing a great job, and this is my "Squirrel Seva" :-) Mera Bharat Mahan, Jai Hind
