Last Sunday The Hague transformed itself into the sport capital of the Netherlands for one day. The CPC (City-Pier-City) run had an amazing 35.000 participants, of which 19 came from KVE. That is nearly 30 % of our company, making us official sporty spices. 🏃♂️ 🏃♀️ 🏃♂️ 3 teams participated in the business runs of 5 and 10K. We all really enjoyed the event and saw many happy faces crossing the finish line. We are proud to say we finished 4th and 5th on the 10K race as teams. Well done to everyone. We will be back next year!!

TCG Shines Hong Kong Dragon Boat Short Course Races – Men’s Small Boat Gold Plate: A Testament to Our Core Values On June 30th, we at TCG had the privilege of participating in the exhilarating Hong Kong Dragon Boat Short Course Races – Men’s Small Boat Gold Plate at Stanley Bay. This event was not just a competition, but a celebration of our core values: Teamwork, Creativity, and Grit. The day was filled with anticipation and excitement as we prepared to paddle in unison, embodying the spirit of teamwork that is at the heart of TCG. As our boat cut through the water, we could feel the unity and camaraderie that define us as a team. We are proud to announce that we secured the runner-up position in the competition. This achievement is a testament to our collective effort and determination. It was not an easy feat, but our unwavering grit and resilience saw us through. Participating in the Dragon Boat competition was a unique experience that allowed us to showcase our creativity. Each stroke of the paddle was a stroke of innovation, pushing us forward against the tide. It was a vivid display of our ability to think outside the box and adapt to the rhythm of the challenge. But beyond the competition, this event served as a team-building exercise. It brought us closer together, strengthening our bonds and fostering a deeper understanding among team members. We cheered each other on, shared laughs, and created memories that will last a lifetime. As we reflect on this experience, we are reminded of the importance of our core values. Teamwork is the backbone of our success, Creativity is the engine that drives us forward, and Grit is the fuel that keeps us going, no matter the odds. We look forward to participating in more such events in the future, continuing to grow as a team, and making TCG proud. Remember, every challenge we face is an opportunity for growth. Here’s to many more! #TeamTCG #tcghk #tcgconstruct #Teamwork #Creativity #Grit #DragonBoatCompetition

Now that the European Championships have concluded and Gareth Southgate has completed his eight-year tenure as England Manager, public opinion seems divided on his success. If we likened this to a business, eight years ago it might have been said to be on the verge of bankruptcy with poor results, demotivated staff, and significant underperformance. Since Gareth's appointment, he has statistically revitalised the team, which no longer operates in isolated groups, akin to a business's workforce. However, the customers (England supporters) harbour mixed feelings about his tenure, despite him being the most successful manager in nearly six decades. If these customers were to rate the team(company) on Google, it's uncertain how many would award five stars. Many business coaches believe in winning or learning. It could be argued that Southgate's cautious approach at Euro 2020 indicates he hasn't learned, continuing with a defensive strategy and a mindset more fearful of losing than eager to win. Having worked with numerous business owners and managing directors, I've observed that taking risks is often necessary for progression rather than remaining static. It will be intriguing to see who succeeds him and their chosen strategy. Are you pro or against Southgate during his term as England manager?

This is the opposite of everything Crfted Events stands for. A great lesson on how to not get a great (ROE) return on experience. How would you feel if you have been training for 3.5 years to represent your country in the Olympic triathlon to learn that your event was cancelled and there wasn't contingency? The questions that come to mind: Will Paris ever be awarded the games again? Could the $1.5 billion have built an incredible space for the triathletes to compete for people to view? Is there any repercussions to wasting $1.5 billion? How will this impact guidelines and expectations for the future of global events?

Great reminder post from Thomas Hal Robson-Kanu below. Here's my re-write for underestimated founders: Continually overlooked and underestimated - the hurt goes on. But let's not forget the immense growth and resilience underestimated founders continue to show. Diversity-X has a community of underestimated founders, who, despite the challenges, strap on the boots and climb the mountain daily. Underestimated founders do break through and reach remarkable milestones and created incredible impact - which in itself is awe-inspiring. To all underestimated founders and their teams - congratulations on everything you have achieved to date. Keep 🧗🏾♂️! You’ve faced criticism from those who have never walked in your shoes, or are just overlooked and underestimated. When you realise that what doesn’t break you makes you stronger, this journey will help shape your future success. 🏆 Keep your heads held high… the best is yet to come 🙏 Have a great day! #founders #startups #angelinvestors #vc #ecosystem

58 years of hurt! But let's not forget the immense growth and fight this team has shown. England have reached two consecutive European Championship finals - which in itself is incredible. To all the players and staff - congratulations for achieving what you have achieved to date. You’ve faced criticism by commentators and pundits who have never done what you have. When you realise what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, this experience will help shape your future glory. Keep your heads held high… the best is yet to come 🙏

❓ What does it mean that my coaching is influenced from the ballroom to the boardroom? 💃 Today we are in the historic and very beautiful surroundings of the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool, the home of ballroom dancing and somewhere I've been coming to since the late 1980s to dance. We're here to watch two of my new coaching clients who are world champion dancers and working on the strength of their partnership in an intensive and challenging sport. 🏆 Mildred and I retired as dancesport competitors just over ten years ago after representing England seven times at World and European Championships. I am eternally grateful for every step of the journey we took together. 🌍 Travelling round the world, training in Italy and pitting ourselves against the very best, we learned about the sacrifices and compromises you need to make in order to be not just "very good", but "amongst the very best in the world" at what you do. It's a completely different mindset, as Ruth Gotian, Ed.D., M.S. brilliantly articulates in her bestseller "The Success Factor". ⚖ For us that sacrifice was to compromise career progression and pay, to forgo holidays for a decade, to live in a tiny flat so that we could put every penny into pursuing our goals, to learn to overcome the many failures and go again in the pursuit of success. We shared an ambition to defy the doubters and prove that we could achieve great things without sponsors, without a trust fund, without anything other than what we could create for ourselves. 🚀 Today people see that inner drive in both of us. And this is where it came from. A commitment to realise our maximum potential as dancers, which grew us so much as people and shaped who we both are today. 💃 The video below is a show we created in our retirement year of 2013. I hope that sharing something of our secret double life might help you understand better the people we are today. https://lnkd.in/eE_B_MAP #ballroomdancing #dancesport #highperformance #performancecoaching #coaching #theunlockmoment

Driving new business growth as the Chief Marketing Officer at Hunt & Hunt Lawyers | Part Owner Auto Action | Marketing Specialist | Writer | Media Presenter | Advisor on doing business with China | Motorsport
I'm not sure what this journo is trying to get at. Does he think the AGP, a sell-out event, shouldn't increase its prices because we are experiencing a cost-of-living crisis? Its operating costs have risen, so ticket costs will surely rise. I think these rises are too small. Maybe a major events reporter should have a little more of a big-picture view... and perhaps the AGP should review where it spends its money! We should be praising the AGP for year-on-year growth, and for bringing motorsport to a bigger market than ever before, and for running a fantastic event, https://loom.ly/-AZQ6wE #AGP
