Why do we like regularly bringing our team together through company lunches? Because we believe that sharing a meal can help us bond in more than one way: ✔️By creating a shared experience. Whether it's a family dinner, a holiday feast, or a casual brunch with friends, the act of sitting down together to eat helps strengthen relationships. ✔️Food is a conversation starter: From discussing the flavors and ingredients to sharing cooking tips and stories, mealtime often sparks lively discussions and connections. ✔️Food can break down social barriers by bringing together people from different backgrounds. ✔️Sharing a meal with others can create a sense of comfort, nostalgia, and belonging. We would like to give a shout-out to all our colleagues who joined us, with special thanks to those who took part in the organization. Here’s to many more occasions to share a meal with our team in the future! #team #funatwork #teambuilding #teamevent #employeeexperience #companyculture #community #Klarrio #tutorrio

Time off / time out. Easy to forget how important it is. Life lessons with my four old when picking samphire to add to tonight's dinner. 1. The best growth is found near the riskier edges. 2. An abundance mindset yields the best returns. 3. Where aren't the majority looking? A shift in perspective is what's often needed. 4. Stop posting about f'ing samphire, have a beer and start the BBQ. :) #theseaside #timeout #simplethings

Supernatural Wealth Creator | EQ Coach and Writer | Wild Mentor | Being living truth of what is possible.
A few things have changed since I last posted on here... There is this older guy that has walked past our house for the last year, he walks hunched over at a 90 degree angle and only straightens up when he stops to take in the view. Every time I saw him I wondered what his story might be. I was lucky enough to have bumped into him one day out walking my dog Tessie. After greeting him with a good morning and introducing my dog to him, we proceeded to have light conversation. He said he was off out for lunch that afternoon. Being such a foody I asked what delights he fancied. He said he did not care much because he cannot taste food anyway, he just chews and swallows. We did not quite get to the how, about loosing his taste or ability to walk standing up because Tessie was off flirting with another dog. He has no idea how much of a profound impact that chance meeting has had on me since. No longer have I been disconnected while preparing, choosing, cooking or eating food. No longer have I taken this absolutely delightful experience as a given. No longer have I taken my natural ability to taste, enjoy and immerse myself in this pleasurable act of eating food for granted. The more I have become grateful for this gift, the more I have been gifted with an abundance of taste buds. The more I have valued eating and tasting food, the more pleasurable all my dining experiences have become. The more adventurous I have become with food, the more adventure I have had with food. Suffice to say, one of things that has changed for me as a result of this chance encounter.. My natural ability to connect others to their truth, trust and love.. The times where people or clients spend time with me and simply come away feeling more themselves. IS the OUTCOME of working with me and has always been the outcome of working with me in a coaching or mentorship relationship. I just have not quite owned it like I have done these last 6months. This is what an inside job really looks and feels like, when you become MORE authentically you with no clue how it happened, being grateful for your natural gifts. Ohh and I have had a new hairdoo too :-) totally all ohhh natural now (I stopped dying my hair last year). #mentor #coaching #facilitatorofsustainablechange #insidejob #naturalgifts #tastebuds #abundance #foody

What do two beers and a puppy have in common? To find out how you feel about someone, ask yourself two questions 1.) Would I have two beers with this person? 2.) Would I allow this person to look after my puppy over the weekend? This was a test developed by Ross McCammon in his book, "Works Well with Others: Shaking Hands, Shutting Up and Other Crucial Skills in Business That No One Ever Teaches You" If you answer: ❌No and No - Avoid those people. ⚠️Yes and No - Use caution when trusting them 🤔No and Yes - Not really fun, but they make the world a better place 🔥Yes and Yes - Wonderful people to have in your life. "Seek them out. Collaborate with them. Enjoy their company." I love beer, have two dogs and we foster rescues! How about you? #hotelsales #hotelindustry #hospitalityindustry #hospitalityleadership #hospitalityleaders #hospitalitysales #salesleadership #leadershipdevelopment #travelandtourism #hospitalitymanagement #luxuryhospitality #hospitalitytrends #hotelmarketing #hospitalitymarketing

Why a hamburger is both happiness and sadness for a career man (I love burgers) We can use the metaphor of hamburgers to understand archetypes of happiness The junk food burger - gives present benefit, and future detriment. This is HEDONISM. Here you seek pleasure and avoid pain. Vegetarian burger - future benefit, present detriment. This is a RAT RACER. Suffer now for future gain. Tasteless and unhealthy burger - present detriment, and future detriment. This is NIHILISM. Neither enjoys the moment, or has a sense of future purpose. Happiness burger - both present and future benefit. Enjoyment and purpose. When you consider how you approach both present and future outcomes, which burger do you want? Would love to hear your thoughts below on how this concept of happiness and burgers works for you!

The road to ‘figuring’ it out can be long at times. Be it a new job in a new region. A reasonable rental space near your college. The perfect recipe for that perfect pizza’s dough. To connecting well with your colleagues and doing amazing at work. It will be tiring, a big YES but it will be worth it, a bigger YES. While you are in the middle of this, Do not forget to live your journey too. Do not let it create a chaos in your mind. Do not forget to be kind and fair to yourself. Do not let it stop you from giving your best. #Happyjourney #challengethechallenge

Helping Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Medical Device and Healthcare Businesses To Scale By Sourcing The Best Talent And Building High Performing Teams | MD
Headless chicken? TIME, the holy grail, is it your biggest challenge? I know it is mine and funnily enough has been one of the top things that has come out of talking to the team in our appraisals this week - time management, planning and time blocking and how to execute it best without getting distracted. In life you there is your day job but also those things that get thrown in from the side lines from both a work and a personal perspective. You will get unexpected things come up all the time at work and at home I am sure. Here are just some of the unexpected things I have encountered this week:- Water tank leaking in the ceiling of the office that we didn't even know was there, phone system playing up, teenager needing be taken on a 6 hour road trip to retake an exam, a very lame dog needing to go to the vets, delivering a neighbours lamb who was coming out backwards. This is not unusual for any of us to have all of these things thrown at us in a week (well maybe with the exception of the lambing, granted quite an unusual occurrence!) It has become apparent to me that I may need to outsource some tasks that can be done much better by others - like my admin! I am also trying to block my calendar with tasks so that I try to deal with things in windows rather than as and when they come up. How do you manage your time and what do you or could you outsource to enable you more time to spend on your day job? PFA: This is one of my sassy chickens (nowhere is off limits including the kitchen), not headless thank goodness!
