The convergence of innovation and social inclusion in waste management is not just a topic but a transformative movement, and it was incredible to witness the passion and dedication of everyone involved. One of the highlights for me was seeing the amazing work being done by young entrepreneurs in this space. Their innovative solutions and commitment to creating positive change are truly inspiring. Without™ (by Ashaya) MuddleArt CARPE | EcoSattva @padcarelabs A particularly insightful part of the event was the conversation led by Smita Rakesh discussing with Marwan Abubaker on the challenges faced in waste management. It shed light on the complexities of the issue and the urgent need we encounter in our space. Moreover, Shalini Chhabra & Akshay Soni provided valuable insights into the various capital options available for waste management initiatives. Understanding the financial aspect is crucial for scaling up these efforts and creating sustainable impact. Maria Bystedt emphasis on the importance of collective action and collaboration among stakeholders resonated deeply with me. Indeed, addressing the challenges of waste management requires a united effort and a shared vision for a cleaner, healthier future. And of course, Manoj Kumar short yet passionate & inspiring speech on the indispensable role of waste pickers and our collective responsibility to the environment was truly inspiring. Their contributions often go unrecognized, but they are the unsung heroes of our everyday lives. Overall, it was a thought-provoking and empowering event, leaving me feeling energized and motivated to do our part in closing the loop on waste management.
