What Can AI?
Let's explore a quick and effective use case for AI.
Summarising and finding trends in survey results.
I recently conducted a survey and used AI to analyse the responses.
The results?
- AI quickly identified key themes and patterns.
- It even generated a graph to visualise the data.
- Granted, the graph was a bit whacky (thanks, GPT).
Just remember:
- Always protect sensitive/personal information.
- Never upload anything confidential to AI tools.
Each week I send out a newsletter to Not for Profits, showing them how they can leverage IRR to increase their efficiency and effectiveness within their organization. Ask them for some feedback about this newsletter and what I'm offering through NPS dot AI. And I thought this is a great opportunity to show how you can analyze survey data using AI. So we're in CHPT, we're using their newest model GPT for and what we're going to do. Is we're gonna attach the CSV file which is the export in a table format of the responses. So I've got them ready here. I'm simply going to be uploading that and it's going to be a really simple prompt. I'm simply going to ask for an analysis, a summary and to identify any trends within the data. All right, so I've got please find attached the CSV export of a survey from some subscribers to my weekly newsletter. It's not for profits about how to use AI. Please summarize the findings, takeaways, identify any trends and recommendations you have. Prevent your present, your findings in a visually pleasing format. And let's see what we get. So while this is processing, I will mention that nothing that I have uploaded is personal data. Haven't uploaded any people's names or e-mail addresses. This is simply their responses that they have provided. This is really important when using AI, not to be uploading any sensitive personal or confidential information. All right, so we've got a bit of a summary here with a visual representation up above. Umm, so I'm just going to scroll up and let's actually see what we've got here. It's actually something new. Interactive charts of this not top or not supported yet. I go, oh, this is interesting. It's uh, I don't quite know what it is, but umm, yeah, I think they said that that is in beta. I'm gonna download it and see what it looks like outside of this. Let's actually see. So yeah, not great. Um, there's a lot of stuff all over the place, but. Says it's getting better, so let's see. A significant portion of respondents are not currently utilizing AI. The primary barriers or lack of time, skills and awareness. Some organizations face legal restrictions. And we've got necessary resources need for time, internal prioritization, risk assessment resources and knowledge about AI. Online workshops are the most preferred method learning about AIR, followed by online courses. I brought interest air scalability and all right, let's have a look at some of the band. There's a clear interest in adopting IR, but significant knowledge gap and resource constraints are hindering progress. Online learning platforms are the preferred recommendations. We've got educational resources, awareness campaigns, support systems including forums and Q&A and legal and risk guidance. So as you can see, I think apart from their very strange chart that was. Prepared people, I think it's done a really good job. You know, it takes time to go through survey results, analyze these trends, try and pick up commonalities and as we saw just with a simple prompt, uploading it and within a couple of minutes we've got something that we can actually use moving forward. So I think this is a really easy, simple use case that you can use if you've got survey data, if you've got data on your supporters on social media or website. You actually upload this asked to identify trans, summarise key findings and I think you might find that you get something pretty useful and valuable in a very short amount of time. As always, if you got any questions please feel free to ask, otherwise look forward to seeing you in the next video.
Empowering nonprofits to increase capacity but not their workload → building bespoke AI frameworks for Grants, Meetings, and Delegation that increases revenue in 90 days
This is great! Such a good use case!
I recently had a nonprofit leader put all the recommendations for improvements to their service to find trends and key insights...
And then use AI to make a plan to mitigate problems.
The 'rewrite for AI' experiment results: poorly written short posts are still bad, even with AI.
There's a limited to what AI can do especially with unclear ideas.
That said, it can easily produce generic sentences. Below you'll find this post, corrected by AI. The meaning got slightly distorted, but it's not too bad. Which do you prefer, the text above or below?
The limits of AI are being tested in all industries, including writing. This morning's 'rewrite for AI' experiment proved that poorly written short posts are still bad, even with AI. It's clear that there's a limit to what AI can do, and it's important to recognize this as we continue to integrate AI into our work. #AI#writing#limitsofAI

On the responsible use of AI, there’s a middle ground between responsible use and deliberate misconduct: many people using tools naively. They may trust the AI tool/chatbot to have abilities it doesn’t have, e.g., in analysis or computation, and not realise that it can produce inaccurate and fabricated outputs. They abdicate responsibility to the model without realising it.

About AI... Imagine you've done a load of research over weeks and months. You've got some results. Then you sit down to write your paper and you use an AI assist to help write faster. The AI automatically recommends filling in some fake results that it's generated. Do you a) use the fake results or b) insert your real hard-earned research results? The problem isn't AI. AI writing is the future whether we want or not. The problem is dishonesty. People who use AI to fake results weren't otherwise going to publish real papers anyway. AI doesn't change the amount of dishonesty in the world, it just changes the methods we use for finding it.

Can you trust your AI? Comment 👍 or 👎.
Artificial intelligence and machine learning models are being entrusted with critical decisions, but can you be sure they're fair and unbiased? AI is only as good as the data it's built on.

Why Human intervention is required in AI?
Here’s the reason:
It’s needed to annotate data to correct false assumptions made by AI and help build its vocabulary. ✨
Artificial Intelligence can do so much more than humans, but it also provides inconsistent or flawed results without human intervention and guidance 🤖

I learnt a new term today. XAI (Explainable AI).
“Explainable AI is used to describe an AI model, its expected impact and potential biases. It helps characterize model accuracy, fairness, transparency and outcomes in AI-powered decision making. Explainable AI is crucial for an organization in building trust and confidence when putting AI models into production. AI explainability also helps an organization adopt a responsible approach to AI development”
