Today in our Sales Team Leadership class we are discussing Input-Based Goals (Activity-Based Quotas) like meetings, presentations, proposals, and Output-Based Goals (Outcome-Based Goals) like orders, revenues, and profit. It reminded me of the intermediate pipeline goals or quotas in terms of revenue volume and conversion per milestone.
