Liquid Wind AB and Turun Seudun Energiantuotanto Oy (TSE) have signed an MoU to develop a state-of-the-art eFuel facility in Naantali, Finland. Set to produce 100,000 tons of eMethanol annually using green hydrogen and biogenic CO2, this project represents a major stride toward clean energy innovation and sustainability. 🚢✈️ The facility, expected to be operational in 2029, will not only deliver renewable fuel for hard-to-abate sectors like shipping and aviation but also contribute to the local community by reusing CO2 and waste heat for district heating. 🎉Porvoon Energia Oy - Borgå Energi Ab and Gradyent will collaborate together to optimise and decarbonise the Porvoon District Heating network! 🌿While keeping sustainability and decarbonisation as its pivotal point, Porvoon Energia is undertaking a substantial investment program to modernize its heating system by introducing more decentralized sources into the network. This includes the integration of a 12 MW heat pump and the utilization of waste heat generated at Ensto's property in the district heating network. 💡 Gradyent's Digital Twin will support Porvoon Energia in managing this complexity and achieving greater network efficiency and sustainability.
