Regroup & Back to Basics for new employees / job force, owners / CEO's. Customer Service - When I was young, new to the labor force, one local company had on its wall : (not verbatium). " rule #1 - Customer is always right, if a problem refer back to rule #1". You would see this each time you came in and could not miss. No fine print for them. Not saying it's perfect, (I'm sure management had it's hands full) but the bussiness had such a reputation, people came from all over the world to shop this one location in Norwalk CT. Everyday life isn't easy, we are here to learn, help and hopefully make life a little better for all. Compassion, Integrity, Ethics, mixed in with Quality can make a company Flourish. Your reputation from your customers, is what helps you grow, and have those repeat LOYAL customers (you just need to prove your loyalty first to customers). My Opionion of course... But you MUST allow your CS Team to use resources, and thier Discretion. Try, it may be what turns your company around (if having issues around CS)... Lead by Example, Never Forget where You Came From.

Addressing a customer's issue is crucial for building loyalty, but a severe labor shortage complicates this for several businesses. Just this morning in Boston, people are desperately trying to find a marine diesel mechanic, plumber, physiotherapist, and many more. Skilled worker scarcity is a growing hurdle, as these social media requests show. Excellent customer service is critical but falls flat without the people needed for the job. Understanding a customer's problem is only the first step in transforming them into a loyal advocate for your business.
