Wishing all mothers a happy day and a heartfelt thank you for all you do! Being a mother is arguably one of the world's most rewarding — but difficult — jobs. Whether providing guidance, nourishment, safety, or unconditional love, moms are the people who encourage us to become our best selves. Our name, "La Casa de las Madres," translates to "Home of the Mothers" because it signifies the safety, nurturing, and unconditional acceptance found within a mother's arms. It represents the refuge we all seek in a time of crisis or to heal from trauma. This Mother’s Day, we want to thank all the hard-working moms, especially in our La Casa work family, who have given so much to their children, families, and communities we serve. Have a great Mother's Day! 💐 #sheroes #mothersday #momsrock

No one can take any risk for you Except Mother ❤ No one can take any risk for you except your mother. Throughout history, mothers have consistently demonstrated unparalleled bravery and sacrifice for their children. From the moment of birth, a mother instinctively prioritizes her child’s safety and well-being above her own. This selflessness is evident in countless acts, whether small daily sacrifices or life-altering decisions. A mother will face any danger, endure any hardship, and take any risk to protect and provide for her child. This unique bond, forged through unconditional love and unwavering commitment, is the foundation of a mother’s willingness to take risks. Her actions are driven by an innate desire to see her child thrive and succeed, regardless of the personal cost. In a world where risks are often calculated and self-interest prevails, a mother’s readiness to risk everything for her child stands out as a testament to her love. It is a powerful reminder of the lengths a mother will go to ensure her child's happiness and security. #Motherhood #UnconditionalLove #Sacrifice #Bravery #ParentalLove #MaternalInstinct #FamilyBond #Selflessness #MotherAndChild #ProtectiveInstincts #LoveBeyondMeasure

❓Do you know what a Kinship Carer is? ❓Do you know that this week is Kinship Care Week? 🙏🏽Thank you BookTrust and Kinship for featuring, My Family, Your Family, as a book that positively represents all families, including Kinship Carers. 🗣️Quote: “Kinship carers are family or friends who step up, often during an unexpected crisis, to care for a child when their parents aren’t able to. This may be because the parent has died, is unwell, has gone to prison, is experiencing problems with drugs and alcohol, or are neglectful or abusive. Kinship carers are usually grandparents, aunts or uncles, brothers or sisters, a stepparent, stepbrother or stepsister, or someone who isn’t related but knows the child well. Whatever their relationship to the child, in that moment a commitment is made. To bring love and hope to a child who has experienced trauma, no matter what.” ➡️For more information: https://lnkd.in/gdBgA9uq #KinshipCareWeek #ThisIsKinshipCare #MyFamilyYourFamily #Parenthood #educators #teachers #representationmatters

𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐏 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐕𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐃𝐑𝐄𝐍 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐌! 👉 Stop leaving your children with boyfriends you barely know. 👉 Stop letting family members you don’t trust watch them just because it’s free. 👉 If you feel uneasy about someone around your children, cut ties. 👉 If your child says they don’t want to stay with someone, listen. 👉 And always believe them! It’s better to be wrong believing them than to call them a liar and be wrong. #ProtectYourKids #TrustYourInstincts #ListenToYourChild #BelieveThem #ParentingAdvice #ChildSafety #FamilyFirst #NoCompromiseOnSafety #ChildrenFirst #ParentingTips

5moHappy Mother’s Day to all the staff, donners, and partners of La Casa. I am a survivor and a systems impacted mother who sought support from La Casa. Perhaps my experience is exceptionally unique but I didn’t feel I got the help I needed. My heart goes out to the women who are referred to La Casa through the family policing systems, law enforcement, or that otherwise seek out their help independently. May you have better luck than I had.
