Important update on Minimum Wage Rates!💷 Starting today, there are changes in the National Minimum Wage rates in the UK. 🇬🇧 The minimum pay per hour that most workers are entitled to by law varies based on age and apprentice status. As of April 1, 2024, workers aged 21 and above must be paid at least the National Living Wage, which is the highest rate of the National Minimum Wage. Make sure you're up to date with these changes to ensure you're receiving fair pay.💰 #MinimumWage #UKWorkers #PayFairness

Did you know that workers and ex workers have the right to inspect, examine and copy pay records if they believe they have been paid less than the national minimum wage? They also have the right to be accompanied in this process by any other person that they see fit. This right is contained in s10 National Minimum Wage Act 1998. Sanctions for noncompliance by an employer to allow for this are set out in s11 and very hefty! Fixed compensation of 80x the hourly NMW rate. That makes it £915.20.
