There are MANY reasons to love working at Laka, but 3pm Fridays are definitely a highlight! Just ask Peter Talbot, who took full advantage of the early finish to head off on a bike ride from London to Paris 🇫🇷
Taking advantage of #Laka 's work perk 3pm Fridays I decided on a bike ride - London 2 Paris in 24hrs (slightly over, but oh well, I'll blame Garmin for getting me lost multiple times). Eurostar banned bikes without a box from Paris, so I took the #Brompton C-Line express all the way, the extra time meant I had plenty of time to make the Newhaven ferry. 310km, 3500m + of climbing with gradients reaching 12%+ and almost 16hrs saddle time I made it - the bike handled the lot with ease. Monday morning I decided to rest and took the train and quickly realised there's only one way to #commute and that's by Brompton! I thoroughly recommend ditching the car or public transport and choose bike.
