Helping mums build healthy eating habits that don't make your soul cry. Ditch dieting forever, eat normally again, lose weight AND enjoy cake guilt-free💪🏻🧁 £120 Kick-Start Your Anti-dieting Action Plan 1-2-1 sessions.
Ugh the dieting industry is FULL of rules and most of them are bullshit 👎🏾 You won't get lists of 'good' and 'bad' food or any of that crap from me... The only rule I give you is the 'rule of 3'. It's more of a structure for putting together balanced meals rather than a rule. Clients regularly tell me it helps make healthy eating simpler. Follow it each time you eat - focus on making each snack/meal balanced - then the rest all slots into place 👌🏻 Include a variety of different food at each meal so you're more likely to get the nutrients you need. When each meal is more nutritious and satisfying you're less likely to pick and snack between meals. Also you're less likely to struggle with cravings 🥳 Basically aim to get 3 different food groups at each meal or snack. 🥔🍞🍚 Start with something starchy like bread or rice or potatoes. 🥑🍆🍍 Include plenty of fruit &/or veg. Then either go for something protein rich or some kind of dairy food or dairy alternative (as long as it's fortified). Easy peasy 😊 No food is banned - huzzahh! Message me for more help with this. Ditch dieting forever - you deserve better 😘

Is the way we eat changing? If more people are grazing throughout the day rather than the more traditional 3 meals how do we ensure we get all the nutrients we need for good health.. The new initiative #addonemoreveg can help encourage people to think about enjoying vegetables through the day, in snacks, sandwiches, even drinks .. We also need to be thinking about lots of whole foods (dairy, meats, fish, legumes, nuts, fruits too) to give the vitamins, minerals, essential fats & protein we need. Plus foods with whole grains & fibre. In NZ bread remains important, especially as it must be made with flour fortified with folate, to deliver this essential nutrient that protects against neural tube defects in babies. A shift towards snacking will require a lot of thought and discussion for initiatives such as mandatory fortification and how to best manage micronutrient deficiencies. We really do need an new National Nutrition survey so we have a better understanding of not just what we eat, but how we eat. #snackwisely https://lnkd.in/e5JsZ4zE
No thanks to traditional meals, say Gen Z
