COVID-19 has driven us to take a more pragmatic approach in many areas, especially regarding religion and belief systems (Singh Thattha technique). This NIOSH initiative could bring significant changes to Health and Safety related to Respiratory Protection Program. #RespiratoryProtectioProgram #Respiratory_Fit_Testing
NIOSH has announced an opportunity for respirator manufacturers, NIOSH approval holders, and beard band manufacturers to participate, through a collaborative agreement, in a project titled ‘‘Fit Testing of Respirators on Those Wearing Beard Bands.’’ The aim of this project is to determine how well respirators provide protection to workers with facial hair when using a beard band. Last Friday, I had the honour of leading a laser safety course at Oldenburg Hospital. Laser devices are needed in medicine for many patient treatments, which is why safe handling is of great importance. In Germany, a one-day course for laser safety officers is therefore mandatory and must be repeated every five years. It not only covers the physical basics, but also points out hazards such as fire, explosion and glare. It also explains how to choose the right laser safety goggles. The course must be manufacturer-neutral. It must not be an advertising event! #Laser #lasersafety #TROS #OSTRV #Lasersicherheit

I Help Surgeons & Med Tech Differentiate Their Brand From The Sea of Sameness | Voted Best Healthcare Cause Marketing Agency | Agency Locations: San Diego, Portland, & Milan, Italy
Ah, the Jantzen C. method - where trade show observations meet personalized video magic! Let's dissect this masterpiece of content creation: Jantzen, our triple-threat buddy/client/Content Crib 2.0 faculty (talk about wearing multiple hats!), is showing us how to turn mundane trade show wanderings into content gold. It's like he's performing alchemy, but instead of turning lead into gold, he's turning booth small talk into video marketing brilliance. Here's what makes Jantzen's approach so darn effective: 1. The Art of Curation: Jantzen isn't just walking around stalking surgeons at the trade show. Oh no, he's curating experiences faster than a museum director on espresso. He's picking out the gems, the nuggets, the "holy cow, did you see that?" moments that others might miss. 2. The Science of Compelling Content: This isn't your dinosaur marketing trade show report. Jantzen's taking these curated observations and turning them into video content so compelling, it makes Scott Sigman MD want to embrace him openly. He's not just reporting; he's storytelling with the finesse of a Creative Director. 3. The Power of Personalization: Here's where the magic really happens. Jantzen's not creating one-size-fits-all content. He's personalizing these videos like a tailor with a hot glue gun and a deadline. Each video is crafted to resonate with its intended audience, making viewers feel like they've got a personal correspondent on the tradeshow floor. 4. The Unique Perspective Angle: Jantzen's not just regurgitating press releases or booth spiels. He's offering his unique take, his insider's view. It's like having a witty, insightful friend whispering commentary in your ear as you navigate the tradeshow maze. The result? Content that's more engaging than a surprise celebrity appearance at a medical conference. It's informative, it's personal, and it's downright addictive. So, next time you're at a trade show, channel your inner Jantzen. Don't just attend - observe, curate, create, and personalize. Turn that sea of booths and branded stress balls into a content goldmine. Remember, in the world of med tech marketing, if you're not personalizing, you're paralyzing your audience with boredom. Be like Jantzen - make your content so good, people forget they're learning about medical devices and start thinking they're watching the next big streaming hit. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to practice my "insightful trade show observer" face in the mirror. It's somewhere between "fascinated by new tech" and "just saw the coffee station." Wish me luck!

Happy Pump Day- In case you missed last week, pump day is dedicated to “pumping up” the people we work with in the Heart industry. This week's Pump Day nominee is no other than Michael Riggs–a man who needs no introduction, but here we go... Paul Zoll and a few others may have invented the AED in 1947, but AEDs weren’t sold across public locations with frequency until the Cardiac Arrest Survival Act came into effect in 2000–the year after Michael Riggs started selling them. Coincidence? No chance. Michael Riggs is known at our organization as the Godfather of AED sales. He has been a Marine, a firefighter and paramedic–he has spent years keeping all the people he encounters both safe and prepared. As a successful entrepreneur, he started FASTEX and built an AED empire on his own terms, until he was acquired by Cardio Partners a few years back. At Cardio Partners, he is the voice of reason: A mentor, leader and a phenomenal example of what a seller should be. With Riggs, the customer always comes first. He listens, he is so positive, he is a world class storyteller and is one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever met. He gets back to you faster than any professional I have worked with - he is a true first responder (see what I did there). Cheers to you Riggs! Show this man some love with a comment or anecdote below. #AEDs #EmergencyactionPlans #Preparedness #CPRtraining #CardioPartners #Heartawareness #Firstresponder #EMT #EMS #ARC #ZOLL

Don't get caught when the electrodes and batteries are discontinued on end-of-life AEDs. Utilize the upcoming pad and battery replacement costs and one of our trade-in programs to pay for your new AED and stay rescue-ready and start saving today. Just took delivery of this MERET USA LLC TRS Pro X bag (I purchased this bag out-of-pocket, so not an ad). Normally, I like to consolidate my medical gear into a single operational bag that covers the majority of both tactical and non-tactical medical operations. However, I wanted a separate dedicated bag specifically for mass casualty incidents. Here’s my question for those running their own mass casualty bags: -How many tourniqets/chest seals/wound packing bandages, etc. are you deploying with and what are the data sets you are using to develop those parameters? For example, patient counts for active violence incidents and other mass casualties vary greatly. Should a single MCI bag cover the treatment of 5 people, 10 people, 30? Curious to hear your insights.

What happens when we over ventilate somome with a bag vavle mask (BVM)?? Volutrauma and barotrauma are just two of the many complications from over bagging. The video shows how easy it is to damage the lungs with a BVM - who ever is running with your BVM, needs to be experienced, trained and competent in its use. 🇬🇧⚕️ #BVM #ALS #barotrauma #gentlehands
