Australian College of Theology to become Australian University of Theology. QTC is an affiliated college of the Australian College of Theology. This week, the ACT announced it has been registered as an Australian University by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA). This is exciting for the ACT and it’s affiliated colleges with the recognition of the standard of education and research in our network. What does this mean for QTC students? For our students, very little will change. We will continue to focus on quality theological education that equips our students to live for Jesus in whatever context they find themselves – whether in vocational ministry, serving in their local church, or taking the gospel into their homes and workplaces, our students will continue to be trained as gospel-driven leaders. #TrainingGospelDrivenLeaders
We are pleased to share this important announcement from our Dean and CEO, Professor James Dalziel.

Transformative technologies such as AI make difficult tasks more accessible and convenient. Since 2018, the use of AI in research has increased drastically, with annual publication rates of 3–5 times higher than pre-2017. Currently, >100,000 manuscripts using AI are published annually within science and engineering, and >20,000 of these belong to the agricultural and environmental fields. Given the magnitude of use, clear communication on how AI is used and how it helps advance scientific knowledge is essential. Clear communication is perhaps more necessary with AI than previous technologies due to its broad and flexible spectrum of uses, the “black-box” nature of deep-learning algorithms, and ongoing debates regarding AI's predictive power versus knowledge of first-principles mechanistic and process-based theories and models. In this commentary, we provide guidelines and discussion points to the scientific community to ensure transparent and effective communication of AI research in agricultural and environmental research publications.

Why might four of MVA's colleagues be in Germany when MVA is a Danish-Swedish organization? By now you probably know that it is very important for us as cluster organization to support and facilitate cross-border life science collaborations in #MediconValley - and one of these, the #HALRIC project, involves not only Sweden and Denmark, but also Norway and Germany. So we are very actively involved in the project's second conference, which happens to take place in Hamburg today ✅ But there is more to it! This particular Scandinavian-German consortium also helps us think forward to the opening of the #FehmarnBelt fixed link. That new connection will bring the life science sector of Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein much closer to Medicon Valley, the strongest life science cluster in the EU, enabling strong synergies. Therefore in this consortium we not only collaborate with research institutes, but also with regional governments and life science organizations - together developing future strengths of this combined region 💪 Mette Bach Dyremose, Maria Sundh, Claus Højlund, Stephan Bouman HALRIC Hanseatic Life Science Research Infrastructure Consortium City of Hamburg, Klaus von Lepel, Sarah Marshall-Bensch Region Skåne, Eskil Mårtensson, Marie-Louise Lövgren Region Hovedstaden, Jakob Øster Life Science Nord, Sarah Niemann, Oliver Schacht Medicon Village, Petter Magnusson Hartman
The show is on!🎉 After many months of preparing the HALRIC Conference we’re finally here in Hamburg - warming up with an Industry Workshop and later today kicking off the 2-day conference with a high level opening and panel session. I am really excited to see the program and presentations in action and to network with our growing HALRIC community. Together we build new cross-border collaborations for the benefit of life science innovation through the use of unique Research Infrastructures🚀 HALRIC Hanseatic Life Science Research Infrastructure Consortium Stephan Bouman, Maria Sundh, Claus Højlund, Sarah Niemann

𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐔𝐑𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐍 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄: 𝐀 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐬 If you're in the extrusion coating industry, you know the importance of staying ahead in a competitive and constantly evolving market. The EUROPEAN PLACE CONFERENCE is your chance to gain cutting-edge insights, connect with industry leaders, and shape the future of your business—all for a fraction of the cost of common investments in your operations. Let’s put this into perspective: 🐣 Early bird registration is only 990€—a cost that equates to just 0.5% of the price of a new extruder or roughly 1–2 hours of production downtime in a standard coating line. 🚀 For the same price, you could buy a couple of rolls of specialty polymer film, but they won’t deliver the knowledge, networking, and innovations that you’ll gain at this conference. 🏭 Investing in your professional development pays dividends far beyond the scope of a single production run. The strategies and ideas you’ll acquire could save you thousands—or even tens of thousands—in improved efficiencies and better decision-making. This isn’t just an event—it’s an opportunity to fuel your business with fresh perspectives, innovative techniques, and practical solutions to challenges you face daily. 𝐒𝐨 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭? 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐠𝐨 𝐮𝐩. Take the first steps towards elevating your Extrusion Coating expertise. At just 990€, the return on investment is invaluable. https://lnkd.in/ekPEs3f2

TikTok saved just in time for you to watch this video and fix your loyalty program 😂 Watch Aiden Brady go through some strategic ways you can improve your loyalty program. However the biggest factor separating poor loyalty programs to the best comes down to how the brand communicates it to their customers in emails and SMS. Lazy loyalty (AKA having 0 control and praying for customers to remember their points and come to you) is far too common, so the way Stamped helps brands get around that is through our ready-to-go play templates, which puts the brand back in control and proactively bring customers back to the site. If you're looking to improve your loyalty program, or help around other retention strategies for 2025, feel free to DM.
Say it with us: customize, test, optimize 🗣️ This week, we're highlighting our favorite things about PEScience's loyalty program!

Fantastic to see an innovative project converting agricultural waste from the banana growing industry into green textiles and renewable energy, led by Dr. Jibran Khaliq, featured in The Times. Researchers, including partners in the UK and Pakistan, believe the process has the potential to be applied to almost any form of agricultural waste, anywhere in the world. The benefits this could bring for communities and the environment has resulted in the research being featured in a list of stories outlining some of the key medical and technological breakthroughs of 2024. #research #innovation #impact (£ paywall)
It wasn’t all doom and gloom in 2024! This year has welcomed in medical breakthroughs, technology firsts, conservation progress and new laws for a fairer society.
