Today Peter Danenberg and I recorded one of my favorite sessions so far. "LLMs the Language of Creativity, Power and Intelligence." We took a philosophical approach to the topic of LLMs and discussed questions such as: ✔ What is the inherent power of language? ✔ How did Large Language Models create the first thinking 'being', capable of being more intelligent than humans? ✔ Is hallucination inherently bad or is it indeed the source of creativity? ✔ Is Gen-AI creative? ✔ Could we ever truly measure the intelligence of AI models if they surpasses human intelligence? Love to hear your feedback. BTW, I looked up the highest intelligence recorded is YoungHoon Kim, south Korean citizen, with a recorded IQ of 276. With that said, the argument about measuring IQ of 200 vs IQ of 2,000 still stands.

While discussing the relations between humans and AI, George Mbithi MPRSK during our Converge III panel, likened AI to a second brain, adding to human capabilities and enhancing efficiency in various tasks. However, there was a crucial reminder: the irreplaceability of human involvement. He pointed out that while AI may streamline processes, its effectiveness is only as good as the people guiding it. Fascinating conversation with AI pioneer Geoffrey Hinton! 🧠 Hinton believes the future of AI lies in scaling: bigger models, bigger data, and bigger computation. This allows models to not just identify more patterns but also see analogies and drawing connections across diverse information that humans can't on the face of it, comprehend. As models grow, he predicts they'll become more creative, surpassing even human ingenuity. This virtuous cycle of scale, better reasoning, and increased training data through the interplay between intuition and reasoning will ultimately lead to a new era of AI that combines intuition and logic in ways we can only imagine. So whilst there are limitations with current models, they can be biased, inconsistent, hallucinates facts, and it doesn't truly understand what it's saying, at Atria AI, we are building with the future in mind. We all get the question a million times. What is future of AI and more importantly, in relevance to humanity and about creativity and feeling.
