Sometimes, First Generation Professionals (lawyers) and First Generation Americans do not have a background in finance and there is a lot of distrust, hesitation and anxiety. Some are culturally tied up in fielty or other family obligations. It is important to deal with the anxiety and make sure that all financial advisors are culturally aware and can create a meaningful plans for a more diverse population.

It’s easy to keep putting things off because it feels like you have so much time, but the years pass quickly. Better to start planning and managing your money better now. It doesn’t get easier later.
