2024 was quite a year for Landing Point, filled with milestones that reflect our growth, innovation, and commitment to our people and clients. Here's a look back at some of the highlights that made this year unforgettable: ✨ Expanding our footprint: We opened our Boston office, bringing our expertise and passion for excellence to a new market. ✨ Innovating with new services: We launched two exciting divisions—Consulting Solutions and Legal & Compliance—broadening how we partner with clients to meet their unique needs. ✨ Giving back to the community: Supporting causes close to our hearts, like Project Sunshine and The City Tutors, has allowed us to make a difference in the lives of others. ✨ Celebrating as a team: From a spirited golf outing to a competitive Mario Kart tournament and festive holiday events, we made time to connect, laugh, and celebrate our shared successes. ✨ Growing together: Our team grew by 29% this year, bringing new talent, ideas, and energy to our mission. ✨ Staying true to our roots: Through all the growth and change, we’ve stayed grounded in the culture that has defined us since day 1—focused, collaborative, and people-first. As we reflect on the year, we’re filled with gratitude for the clients, candidates, and colleagues who have been part of our journey. Here’s to even greater impact in 2025!

WELL THAT'S A WRAP FOLKS! Our team closed the year stronger than ever before and took so much HELL outta Hello, they'll probably be twiddling their thumbs from now on. JK! There's always work to be done and businesses to help! Anyway, we're no Steven Spielberg, but we did want to give you a little peek into what we were up to (socially at least) in 2024 We added a Penny to Team Towner (she's a #Remote worker, only comes in for important meetings) We partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters Kansas City. Come fill our drop box please We got sooo fancy for some great galas! Kansas City Repertory Theatre, Kansas City Girls Preparatory Academy, Kansas City Sports Commission & Foundation, and mucho more. We did Monday Moring #Teambuiling activities that weren't stogy and boring. We sent our team to Colorado with Vistage Worldwide, Inc. and they hiked their buns off (HEY! not so big of shocker Julie Stotlar-Towner can indeed hike people!) Obviously we went to A LOT of sports events with our partners, KC Current #kcbaby, and Kansas City Chiefs Julie got cozy with Goldman Sachs and the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business program, so she's a genius now. Asahi Pompey Thanks for doing everything you do. Lucas Salinas and Keith Towner had their brains examined...It's a long story. We ate, we potlucked and BBQ'ed and we solved some mysteries of course! So even though this is just a small little recap and not everything we did to help our community, our team, and our clients in 2024 is captured here, we think you get the jest. Here's to an epic 2024 and wishing y'all a blast of awesomeness in 2025! 👇 What’s your highlight of 2024? Drop it in the comments! #TelecomSolutions #KansasCityBusiness #WomenOwnedBusiness #CommunityImpact #SeamlessConnections #CustomerFocused #TechnologyLeadership #VoIPExperts #BusinessConnectivity #MidwestTech

What change do you want to make for rest in 2025? Block out time for creativity and reflection? Ask what your team need? Start a new rest habit? Dismantle capitalism? 😄 Our Radical Rest Network is a group of 280+ workers in the cultural and environmental sectors. We share successes and resources for rest on a monthly mail-out, and host online meet-ups every couple of months to share ideas, challenges, and support for prioritising rest. I haven't shared about it for a while and thought this might be a good time while the transition from rest to routine is on everyone's minds! If you'd like to join our New Year meet-up it's this Weds 8th January, 11am-12pm GMT. We’ll start the year as we mean to go on, with collective support and space to plan a 2025 that works better for rest. Joining us? Click here to RSVP & I'll send you the Zoom link on Weds: https://lnkd.in/d-aG6V5G If you'd like to read the original research that inspired Radical Rest, see here: https://lnkd.in/eS2APAT7 - or join the mailout list here: https://lnkd.in/eKZBWgae

Been thinking about something Zen Trenholm said recently— that when someone grows up with familiarity with a framework, they are uniquely positioned to innovate and expand that framework. We were talking about Aaron Dawson and the systems innovation with cooperative development, workforce and sustainability at The Industrial Commons. Also, I thought of Greg Brodsky, innovating with cooperative models and disrupting the status quo of private equity via Start.coop And my first thought was, “Well this is another reason why good people need to have kids…” (Seriously though… we need to support intentional people to be intentional parents and raise change-making kids) But it emphasizes, yet again, what we #workforce people know to be true: career education and #careernavigation begin at an EARLY age. And not just what kind of occupation is right for you. It’s also about what kind of company you want to keep. This is why building the #goodjobs and #cooperativedevelopment and #employeeownership ecosystems is important. And if you have kids, seriously consider how you could be the guide introducing them to a whole new world. My 9-year old knows what employee ownership is… does yours?

We are not done at midlife. We are really just getting started. When navigating career and life inflections points, one of the best ways to reach the other side is through relationships and connections. What began as a small pilot program this spring has grown into a series of cohorts with women coming together to reimagine their careers and lift each other up. It turns out many accomplished women have been asking themselves the same questions: "Is this all there is? How do I figure out what's next?" I will be running the next cohort of the Lift Up Connection Councils beginning on November 12th. What you'll get from the program: 🔹 Define the areas of your career and life that you most want to reimagine 🔹 Identify your “zone of genius” and unique talents by mapping your life journey 🔹 Create and develop a vision for your next chapter by exploring various paths 🔹 Refine your vision by receiving guidance and feedback from council members 🔹 Establish an action plan to evaluate the next steps of your journey 🔹 Build friendships that continue long after the cohort ends Learn more about joining our next cohort beginning on 11/12: https://lnkd.in/ec49weCb

Happy New Year! Here's my 2024 LinkedIn Rewind: At Cambridge we have a saying, "You Control the Journey". But when you're in financial services, controlling your journey isn't just a strategy - it's an art form. One that we have worked hard to perfect. In 2024, we didn't just talk about advisor empowerment - we lived it. ➡️ At the Cambridge Community of Women Forum, we proved that connection isn't a buzzword - it's our compass. "The sessions, open sharing, and togetherness were incredible," creating spaces where #womeninfinance don't just network, but truly connect and elevate each other. ➡️ Our Ignite annual conference wasn't just an event - it was a transformative experience. "Where #CambridgeNation shines its brightest," and where we united advisors, experts, and sponsors in a powerful celebration of collective growth. ➡️ Our presence was felt at industry events like Invest in Women, Future Proof Festival, NAIFA Apex, WIFS Thrive, and AAAA VISION – where we helped sponsor and create meaningful pathways for financial professionals to thrive. Some other highlights that defined my 2024 journey: 🏅 Celebrated Shane Westhoelter, AEP, CLU, LUTCF, LTCP and the team at Gateway Financial Advisors on the occasion of receiving NAIFA’s highest honor. ⚡ Visited Gregory Raines and the team TAG Advisors to celebrate a banner year of recruiting partnership 👩💻 Hosted Kylie, our summer intern, embodying our commitment to developing emerging talent 🌎 Expanded our team, strategically positioning advisors for success 💪 Strengthened the Cambridge Community of Women by launching a beta Academy program, backing up how collective support drives individual achievement and empowerment While 2024 was an absolute banner year for Cambridge Business Development, 2025 is about pushing boundaries even further: creating environments where advisors don't just succeed - they transform. "You Control the Journey" isn’t just a tagline... it’s what we offer. Freedom, Flexibility, and Transformation in the direction that YOU choose. To our Cambridge advisors, partners, and Business Development Team, your courage and resilience made 2024 extraordinary. Together, we're rewriting what's possible in financial services. Thank you for an amazing year building something wonderful! 🎆 #CambridgeNation #LinkedInRewind
