We have been doing many cross country trips over the last 6 most. Many of the truckers out there driving during the daytime …are so reckless and just simply dangerous. Maybe I never noticed when I drove OTR.… but today the steering wheel holders are just sadly inexperienced and outright dangerous, cutting you off and not maintaining safe control of their vehicle in their lane. Even during the winter… We have been traveling in our Chevy 2500 with a 20’ trailer, so I am very Visible. I don't miss driving a Big truck for this simple reason, too many inexperienced distracted drivers out there.

Stop loosening requirements just to get drivers on the road. It translates into accidents and incidents.
