Yesterday, as India celebrated her 78th Independence Day, each of us felt the familiar surge of emotion. Whether on Independence Day, Republic Day, or while visiting a war memorial, these moments remind us of the profound sacrifices made by our freedom fighters. Yet, I feel that too often, we remember their struggles only in passing, allowing their sacrifices to fade from our minds on ordinary days. Let us strive to honor their legacy every day by: Being Responsible Citizens: Follow laws, contribute to the well-being of our community, and actively participate in the democratic process. Preserving Our Environment: Protect the natural beauty of our country by adopting sustainable practices and caring for our surroundings. Celebrating Our Culture: Embrace and promote India's rich cultural heritage. Travel within India, explore the beauty of our land, support local communities, and respect the environment by avoiding littering. Supporting Education: Help educate the underprivileged, for education is the foundation of a strong and resilient nation. Respecting Our Nation’s Values: Uphold the principles of equality, justice, and freedom in our interactions with others. By doing our part each day, we can truly honor the sacrifices of those who fought for our freedom and those who keep us safe today. #Independenceday Divya Agrawal Johri Divya Mahesh

Celebrating Independence Day with a Tribute to Innovation and Leadership at HCL Tech 🇮🇳 As we celebrate India's 77th Independence Day, I am filled with pride not just for our nation, but for the strides we've made in the world of technology and innovation. HCL Tech, a beacon of excellence in the IT industry, has recently marked 48 years of trailblazing success. In this journey of almost five decades, HCL has consistently demonstrated what it means to be a leader—driven by a vision of empowering businesses and individuals alike. One of the most remarkable moments this year was the recognition of Roshni Nadar Malhotra, who continues to set an inspiring example as the first woman to lead a listed IT company in India. Her leadership reflects the essence of what we celebrate today—the freedom to dream, achieve, and break boundaries. As we honor our nation's independence, let's also celebrate the freedom to innovate, the courage to lead, and the determination to succeed. Here's to many more years of groundbreaking achievements and making India proud on the global stage! 🇮🇳💼 #IndependenceDay #HCLTech #Leadership #Innovation #ProudIndian

Watching this video, I found myself lost in a flood of memories, reminiscing about India's journey through the years. Names hold deep significance, serving as markers and carriers of history, ideas, and identities. In the post-independence era, the renaming of "Kingsway" to "Rajpath" was a symbolic gesture, signalling the dawn of a new era for the nation. Yet, beneath, the colonial legacy remained rooted. When Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the rechristening from Rajpath to Kartavyapath, it genuinely felt like a pivotal shift rather than a mere change in nomenclature. As emphasized by the Prime Minister, it certainly signified our freedom from colonialism's grip. Yet, beyond that, I felt, the transition from a nation reliant on external sources for ideals to innovation, to proudly embracing our heritage and translating it into action. Yes. this symbolizes our journey towards an Atmanirbhar Bharat. Also. Kartavyapath serves not only as a reminder for politicians to fulfil their obligations but also as a call to action for every citizen. It will embed itself in the collective consciousness of future generations, becoming a beacon of duty towards nation and national pride. As we march forward, let us heed its call and strive towards the India of our aspirations. https://lnkd.in/gK6D_qF2

Today, we commemorate the birth anniversaries of two visionaries who shaped India's history - Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. Their selfless contributions, unwavering commitment, and timeless values continue to inspire us Gandhian Philosophy Mahatma Gandhi's principles of non-violence, truth, and self-discipline are etched in our collective consciousness.
