Excited to share my latest paper: "Exploring Lexical Sophistication in Second Language: An Analysis of Vocabulary Using a Word-Rating Method" Key findings: • Proposed new method for assessing lexical sophistication • Analyzed passive and controlled-active vocabulary in L2 Hebrew learners • Found decreasing accuracy with increasing word sophistication • Observed narrowing gap between passive and controlled-active vocabulary over time This research aims to improve vocabulary assessment in second language education.
